How to Get Lucid Rod in Fisch

A brand new craftable rod has been released in the Cultist Lair update of Fisch, called the Lucid Rod. Well, it can be a great choice for beginners, but every player who is grinding the Cultist Lair quests will surely need this one sooner or later. Since the Lucid Rod is the only one that can give you the Lucid mutation to the items you catch, it becomes a necessity for ‘The Restless One’ quest completion. Fisch Lucid Rod Crafting Ingredients

The Lucid Rod can only be crafted at the crafting station found at the Ancient Archives in Fisch. However, before you head off to the area, make sure you have the following items with you:

• Lunar Thread: You can get a Lunar Thread by fishing anywhere during a Moonlit Mirage weather event, by opening Treasure chests, purchasing it from the Daily Shop, found within Fallen Stars, or from the Personal Aquarium’s hourly items that you receive.
• Lucid Reel: This one cannot be caught while fishing. Instead, you must complete the Tessael NPC’s quest located inside the Sanctum area of the Cultist Lair. To complete his quest, you must bring him a Cathulith with a Cursed Touch mutation.
• Cursed Touch Scrap Metal: This item can be caught by fishing in the Depths, an area within the Strange Whirlpool. To get the Cursed Touch mutation, make sure to use the Great Dreamer rod found in the Cursed Isle.

How to Obtain Lucid Rod in Fisch

Having found all the ingredients for the Lucid Rod, head over to the crafting station inside the Ancient Archives. This area won’t be open to you if you haven’t done so manually. To open the Ancient Archives door, head to the Ancient Isles first, and use a Fisch GPS to reach these coordinates: 5870, 160, 415.

Here, you can use the required fragments and a little help from your friends to access the Ancient Archives. Once inside, glide through the broken bridge to reach the anvil at the very end. Press the ‘E‘ key to access the crafting recipes for all rods, and select the first one from the list. Now select the Craft option to craft your rod by paying 80,000C$.

Lucid Rod Stats in Fisch

The Lucid Rod is deep purple in color with grey rings attached as its design. Now, coming to the stats of the rod, they might not be really great for players in the end-game stages, but this is a required item if you want to get the Lucid mutation. That said, here are the stats of the rod:

• Lure Speed: 80%
• Luck: 100%
• Control: -0.05
• Resilience: 45%
• Max Kg: 500,000kg

The Lucid rod grants a 20% chance to apply the Lucid mutation to the fish caught, and can also duplicate them. While this applies to any circumstance, the chance increases to 30% during clear weather, and you also get an additional duplicate fish. So, during clear weather, there’s a 30% chance for a fish to get the Lucid mutation, and you get a total of 3 fish as well.

Best Enchants for Lucid Rod in Fisch

Although the stats aren’t really great, especially due to the negative control on the rod, you’ll have a hard time catching the higher rarity fish in the game. Therefore, you must focus on increasing the Control stat of the rod by enchanting it with Controlled or Herculean Fisch enchantments.

If you want to make this rod useful, the Herculean enchantment works best on the rod, maxing out its control stat. However, if the above two enchantments aren’t possible, you can go ahead with the Unbreakable, Mystical, or Piercing enchantments. These can help you catch better fishes with ease.
