How to Raid the Ancient City in Minecraft
Raiding the Ancient city, similarly to raiding the Nether Bastion to find the netherite upgrade in Minecraft, is definitely not easy. However, it doesn’t have to be hard either. There are two ways to raid an Ancient city in Minecraft: intended way and brute-forcing way. So, let’s have a look at those and see which one is better for you at finding the Silence armor trim in Minecraft 1.20.
Intended But Slower Way
This way requires you to be patient. It is the way the developers intended for you to approach this structure. This implies you don’t spawn the warden at all, and if you do, just avoid it. You will be sneaking around the Ancient City and opening chests the entire time. Also, you need to “deactivate” the sculk shriekers by either blocking the sculk sensors with wool or breaking the isolated sculk shriekers.
If you trigger a shrieker three times, wait for a bit to recharge your opportunities without penalties. Every 10 minutes, you will be able to trigger a shrieker without consequences. You can enable the subtitles in the Music and Sound tab in Options. This will help you determine exactly when the warden will spawn.
