How to Get Peacock Free Trial

In Short
  • Peacock no longer offers a free trial, however, if you are an Instacart+ member, you can claim the Peacock Premium plan with ads for free.
  • Apart from that, if you have Amazon Prime subscription, you can enjoy a 7-day free trial of Peacock.
  • In addition, Walmart+ members and Xfinity Internet users can also get a free Peacock trial.

NBCUniversal’s Peacock is the only streaming service where you can catch up with your favorite NBC shows like The Office, Modern Family, Law & Order, Poker Face, as well as NFL Games. However, its Premium plans have skyrocketed recently, causing many users, including me, to look for ways to get the Peacock free trial, and I have summed up all promotions and offers to get a free trial for Peacock without breaking the bank.

Does Peacock Have a Free Trial?

The short answer is NO. Peacock no longer offers its 7-day free trial, which was once available for new subscribers when the streaming service came out in July of 2020. It has also subsequently increased the price of its Premium tier in July 2025, with plans starting at $10.99/month with ads. But there are still workarounds to get the Peacock free trial, allowing you to try it out before paying for it.

1. Get Peacock for Free with Instacart+

Instacart+ members can claim the Peacock Premium plan with ads for free. The plan itself costs $10/month or $99/year. The Instacart+ subscription already offers free delivery on grocery orders and pick-up service above $35. The Peacock subscription adds another $109.99 value to the Instacart+ subscription. If you are already an Instacart+ Express member, then head to their website and claim the free benefit.

Note

If you are an existing Peacock subscriber, you will have to cancel your plan to claim the Instacart+ offer.

2. Get 7-Day Peacock Free Trial with Amazon Prime

While Peacock may have discontinued its free trial, there is still a way to access it if you have a Prime Video subscription. This is part of Amazon’s partnership with Peacock, which lets you enjoy all NBC shows, movies, and live games from the Prime Video app. The best part is, it brings back the 7-day Peacock TV free trial for its Premium Plus plan with no ads. To claim it, sign up for Peacock directly from the Prime Video app. But be sure to cancel it by the end of the week.

3. Enjoy Peacock Premium for Free with Walmart+

Walmart+ members get free trial of Peacock for 3 months. If you have a Walmart+ subscription, which costs $12.95/month or $98 annually, you can pick between Paramount+ Essential or Peacock Premium with ads. To claim the free streaming benefit, go to the Walmart+ option on your Walmart accounts page. You can cancel the subscription after 90 days. If you don’t want to get charged.

4. Free Peacock Premium with Xfinity

Those of you who have Xfinity Internet, subscribed to Comcast’s new streaming service NOW TV, Xfinity Diamond or Platinum plan owners can also get Peacock Premium (with ads) for free. Here is a chart to show the different plans and how long they offer the Peacock free trial.

Xumo TV or Xumo Stream box subscribers can also grab a 6-month free trial of the Peacock Premium plan with ads. The company has partnered with Peacock to bring some of its shows to NBC’s streaming service, and in return, Xumo users are eligible for 6 months of Peacock Premium tier. You can claim this free 6-month subscription from the Peacock app.

6. Buy Xfinity Stream Saver Bundle

I know this list is about ways to get Peacock TV for free, but bundles are a good option if you want to save some money on your Peacock Premium subscription. And Xfinity’s Stream Saver Bundle is the best option available right now. It includes Netflix, Apple TV Plus, and Peacock, all three for a price of just $15. This bundle gets you the ad-supported tier of each service; it still offers great value for the price. You can also later upgrade it to include NOW TV for $30/month.

7. Get Peacock Premium Student Plan

Another way to enjoy the Peacock’s rich content library is by getting the student discount, which offers Peacock Premium with ads for $2.99 per/month for the 1-year plan. This is a great option for young adults like me who don’t want to miss out on their favorite shows like Love Island. You can check whether you are eligible for a student discount by verifying your details through SheerID. Peacock also offers discounts to first responders, teachers, and military personnel.

Peacock Premium vs Peacock Premium Plus

It can be confusing to understand the difference between Peacock Premium and Peacock Premium Plus, since both plans sound like they offer pretty much the same benefits. That’s why I have explained the perks of each tier so you can make a conscious decision when picking a plan for you.

Benefits of Peacock Premium

If your Peacock free trial is ending, or you are thinking about getting the paid subscription and want to learn about all the benefits Peacock offers, then here’s a quick breakdown for you.

  • Watch over 80,000 hours of movies and TV shows from NBC, Universal, and more.
  • Stream hit series like The Office, Yellowstone, Law & Order, Love Island, and Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
  • Get next-day access to new NBC and Bravo episodes.
  • Enjoy live sports, including Premier League, WWE, and Sunday Night Football.
  • Stream exclusive Peacock Originals.

These are the best ways that you can use to claim the Peacock subscription for free or at an extremely discounted price. Sadly, there is no way to try out the platform for a brief period, but if you use any of the services discussed above, then you can enjoy more than just a 7-day trial period. Is Peacock Free with Xfinity?

Xfinity customers, who have a gigabit or higher connection can get a free year’s subscription to Peacock for free. Xfinity rewards members can claim Peacock Premium, too. If you have subscribed to Comcast’s Now TV, then that also includes a free trial for Peacock’s ad-supported plan.

Is Peacock Free with Netflix?

Netflix itself doesn’t offer Peacock for free. But existing Comcast members can get the Stream Saver bundle, which gives them Peacock free with Netflix and Apple TV+, but all three will include ads. The bundle will set you back $15, which is a pretty good price for all three services.
