Honkai Star Rail: All Penacony Characters

Honkai Star Rail 2.0 is right around the corner and it will feature the next Trailblazing destination — Penacony, the land of Dreams. Penacony will add many new characters, NPCs, and Villains, and many of them will be playable. The world of Penacony is going to be a wild ride so you must get yourself familiarized with all the characters before the update drops with 2.0. Here are all the new upcoming characters in Honkai Star Rail 2.0 we know so far.

Note: The following list includes all new characters being introduced in Penacony, including native and invited characters.

1. Black Swan

Black Swan is a 5-star Wind Nihility Character in Honkai Star Rail with a DoT-focused DPS kit. She is the Memokeeper of the Garden of Recollection and is described as a mysterious and elegant soothsayer. She bears a warm smile and uses her ability to heed words as a pretext to enter others’ memories.

2. Acheron

Acheron is a 5-star Quantum Nihility character with a unique DPS build that doesn’t rely on recharging energy. She is a drifter who claims to be a Galaxy Ranger and she walks the cosmos alone. Her true name is unknown but she is rumored to be an Emanator of Nihility. Described as aloof and taciturn, she mainly strikes with her scabbard, never drawing her Sword free. Acheron is an Honkai Star Rail 2.x character that appeared for the first time in the Penacony trailer.

3. Duke ‘Ifrit’ Inferno

Duke Inferno is the leader of the Ever-Flame Mansion Family, among the two factions of the Annihilation Gang, and the latest addition to the slowly growing list of villains in Honkai Star Rail. He is rumored to be a Fire Destruction character in Honkai Star Rail, but he likely won’t be playable like every other major villain in the game. Duke Inferno’s original name is Ifrit, and he was born from Phase Flame after Nanook destroyed Fetora, his homeland.

4. Robin

Robin is rumored to be an upcoming 5-star Harmony character in Honkai Star Rail with many team-wide buffs. Robin is one of the leaders of The Family in Penacony and she is also rumored to be very important in the Penacony Stellaron crisis. We have yet to find more lore drops on Robin and she’ll be an interesting Penacony character in Honkai Star Rail.

5. Sunday

Sunday is one of the representatives of The Family in Penacony and the older brother of Robin. He is also organizing the Charmony Festival and is rumored to be one of the starting bosses in Penacony. According to leaks, Sunday will become a playable character eventually in Honkai Star Rail 2.x version. We still lack any information on his rarity, path, or damage type.

6. Boothill

Boothill is rumored to be a 5-star Physical Hunt character in HSR. We don’t have any official image of him, but, according to leaks, he features a space cowboy-style hat in a militaristic uniform adorned with badges. This upcoming Penacony character is also rumored to be a hard person and will create many difficulties for the Trailblazers before becoming friends with the Galactic baseballer.

7. Sam

Sam is going to be a 5-star Fire Destruction character and is rumored to feature in the Honkai Star Rail 2.1 banners. He is also known to be one of the tankiest bosses in Honkai Star Rail. Sam is a Stellaron Hunter, like Kafka, Silver Wolf, and Blade, and he appears to be either wearing a mecha suit or a robot.

8. Misha

Misha is a 4-star Ice Destruction character with a focus on freezing enemies and, featuring in the Honkai Star Rail 2.0 banners. He is a bellboy at The Reverie Hotel in Penacony and is described as a lovable and thoughtful person, who wants to become an intergalactic adventurer like his grandfather. Misha is very hardworking and skilled with machines.

9. Sparkle

Sparkle is a 5-star Quantum Harmony character with very strong Crit Rate and Damage buffs. She is a member of the Masked Fools and wants to get into the Genius Society. Described as a woman with countless masks and many faces and a dangerous master of theatrics, Sparkle is set to be an upcoming Penacony character.

10. Gallagher

Gallagher is going to be a 4-star Fire Abundance character who scales on Attack, like Luocha. He is a security officer of the Bloodhound Family at Penacony. Described as a Slovenly and Indolent mixologist, he is always courteous towards guests and always keeps his vigilance about him. Gallagher bears a complicated past, which he never mentions any details of, but the scars on his hands indicate that he has seen his fair share of battles.

11. Firefly

Firefly is one of Honkai Star Rail NPCs, and very little is known about her. She has been featured in the latest trailer — Sweet Dreams Preview and appears to be taking photos with the trailblazer. There are some rumors about her being the pilot for Sam, but take it with a grain of salt until we can give further confirmation about this Penacony character in Honkai Star Rail.

12. Aventurine

Aventurine is a 5-star Imaginary Preservation character and will likely feature in the Honkai Star Rail 2.1 banners. He is a senior manager in the IPC Strategic Investment Department and one of the Ten Stonehearts. He is said to possess an air of frivolity and doesn’t shy away from taking risks. His constant smile makes it difficult for people to discern his true feelings. Aventurine is described as a guy who views life as a high-stakes, high-return investment, and he plays this particular gamble with masterful ease.

13. Constance

Constance is one of the family members of the Ever-Flame Mansion Family. She is described as the most ambitious and exceptional child of Duke Inferno and is instructed by him to strip away all Penacony holds dear and “leave naught but the Remembrance’s tomb”. The latest trailer also shows Pessimism as one of the traits of this Penacony character.

14. Akash

Akash is another member of the Ever-Flame Mansion Family and features a cool violin. Duke Inferno mentions lighting a fire in his eyes and showing him the music of the strings. He is tasked to “Serenade the celebration and hush the Harmony into muted awe” by Duke Inferno, which likely means the celebration of the Charmony Festival held by The Family.

15. Dubra

Dubra is one of the members of the Ever-Flame family and appears to be a puppet master. Duke Inferno mentions that he set her form alight and taught her the mastery of the blade. She is tasked to “maim the Elation and let the performer’s blood and tears pour into the abyss”, which might mean attacking the Masked Fools or Sparkle.

16. Caterina

Caterina is another member of the Ever-Flame Mansion Family and she appears to be a brash melee fighter. Duke Inferno tasks her to “use her wrath to shatter Preservation’s sanctum and melt their gold“, which likely points towards attacking the IPC.

17. Clockie, Hamster Ball Knight, & Hanu

Clockie is featured in one of the recent trailers leading to Penacony — Tick-Tock! Come Dream With Us! He appears to be a guide for Penacony and the Reverie Hotel. The trailer ends with showcasing two of his friends, Hamster Ball Knight (on the left), and Hanu (on the right).

18. The Great Tatalov

Honkai Star Rail’s most bizarre trailer for Penacony yet — Sweet Dreams Preview, revealed the story of the Great Tatalov, a literal Garbage king. Tatalov is said to be the King and Manager of all the waste in Penacony. The narrator — Shatana, tasks the trailblazer on a bizarre mission to help the Great Tatalov to “Restore Peace to the Trashbags“.
