It is only days away from GTA 6’s previously announced release date, and gamers cannot wait to get their hands on the upcoming Rockstar Games masterpiece. Social media is currently buzzing with conversations around GTA 6, and some of them are quite interesting. One such conversation has drawn quite an attention online, especially from us, regarding how to tackle GTA 6 spoilers after the game’s release. And, the fans have cooked up quite an insane strategy to tackle it, so let’s check it out.

GTA 6 Players Debate Rushing Story to Avoid Spoilers

The insane strategy that fans are debating on social media is whether to rush the GTA 6 story to avoid spoilers. A game of GTA 6’s calibre will be all over the media on release, and maybe prior to that as well, with leaks becoming common nowadays. It is virtually impossible not to get spoilers for some aspects of GTA 6’s gameplay if you expect to stay online and use your social media.

Even shutting off your internet may not be good enough, as GTA 6 will be a cultural phenomenon, and people in your surroundings may come and talk to you about it. So, the ingenious plan that fans have cooked up is to rush the game’s story. This way, they can enjoy the game first, before anyone else can spoil them about the game’s contents.

However, a game like GTA 6 won’t just be about the main story. The missions will be much more evolved, a lot like how the GTA logo has evolved over the years. We are well familiar with how much content Rockstar Games likes to include in their games, and most of them are just side stories. GTA 6 is expected to have the most ambitious project from Rockstar in terms of scale, so rushing through the main story won’t be enough to avoid spoilers.

Why Rushing the GTA 6 Story Is Not the Best Idea

On the contrary, rushing the story can lead to fatigue and ruin your experience of the game. There have been many cases where gamers have been so excited to play a game that they have decided to rush through everything in it, only to realize they no longer want to do anything with it again. It is human nature to end up disliking something that is forced too.

Other than that, GTA 6 won’t be a one-dimensional story. You can expect twists and turns throughout, and many side missions are bound to help you understand the main character’s backstory.

Let’s assume that either of the GTA 6 characters, Lucia or Jason, dies near the end of the story; rushing to it won’t give you the same emotional value compared to taking it slow and learning about the characters’ pasts. If the game ends up having multiple endings, rushing can close the doors to other endings for you, leaving you with a sour finish that you didn’t desire.

Rockstar Games are not made for rushing. They should be relished at every second and consumed slowly and steadily, feeling the taste with every bite. I personally won’t recommend rushing the story; instead would prefer going offline from social media for a week. Although that may not stop all the spoilers, it should do a good enough job for you to enjoy the game.

What’s your take on this? Would you prefer rushing the story or playing the game at a moderate pace? Also, tell us your plan to counter spoilers on GTA 6’s launch. Let us know in the comments below.
