- A Swiss retailer has put up a GTA 6 listing and is charging a whopping $112 for it.
- While Take-Two hasn't confirmed any GTA 6 pricing details, the retailer seems confident of their listing but has removed it nonetheless.
- However, if it's anything to go by then we could actually see GTA 6 costing over $100.
Remember just a week ago we were all worrying and deliberating about GTA 6’s $100 price tag? I would love to say it’s a bit lower but turns out it’s the other way. As spotted on a retailer’s website, a GTA 6 listing has revealed the game to be even higher than what we suspected.
The news comes via Destructoid of an online Swiss retailer named Brack that has apparently put up a listing for Grand Theft Auto 6. While it has been removed now, the pre-order for the game was set at 99 Francs which comes out to just about $112. The retailer also previously stated that the listed price is accurate.
While Take-Two hasn’t confirmed any GTA 6 pricing details, the retailer’s listing shows that gamers’ speculations about GTA 6’s 100 dollar price could be correct. If that happens, we could see a standard edition of Grand Theft Auto 6 being quite expensive.
Fair Pricing or Opportunism?
Regardless of the Swiss retailer’s pricing, no pricing details have been provided yet, as we mentioned. So it could just be the website putting up the price just to cash in on the rumors. It’s either that or they know something we don’t.
As it stands, we believe a lot of gamers have already accepted that GTA 6 will be absurdly expensive. Those looking for confirmation won’t find any just yet. Nonetheless, the official GTA 6 trailer proves that the game will be jam packed with content that is enough to justify the high price tag. However, at the end of the day, that will be dependent on how you view it all.
