It’s discount season thanks to Black Friday, and it is perhaps the best time to buy electronics, especially smartphones. Among others are Google Pixel phones, which usually go for pretty good discounts, but Black Friday makes Pixel deals sweeter. If your dream of purchasing a Pixel has been well overdue, this is the best time to get one, and we’re here to let you know.

Google Pixel 8 Black Friday Deal

Launched last year, the Pixel 8 (review) is still an excellent Google phone. It was launched at $699, which was a great deal considering 7 years of Android updates, an upgraded display, and Google’s tough-to-beat computational photography with AI features. The asking price of $399 in the early Black Friday sale makes it a great buy over the Pixel 8a, especially when both phones are priced the same.

The Pixel 8 has a better display with much thinner bezels, a slightly more “powerful” Tensor G3, and faster charging than the Pixel 8a (review). The only reason you should be getting the Pixel 8a is for its relatively smaller size, slightly bigger battery, and higher resolution camera (which you may barely notice). I would take slimmer bezels and faster charging over them any day.

Google Pixel 9 Black Friday Deal

The recently launched Google Pixel 9 (review) is also on sale, and it’s available at a whopping $350 discount. Weirdly enough, both the 128GB and 256GB variants are available at the same price on Best Buy, so you should just get the 256GB variant.

The improved battery life combined with better performance, the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, and a better modem means it’s a significant upgrade from its predecessor. With Satellite Connectivity, AI features, and 7 years of updates, it’s definitely the Pixel phone to get during this early Black Friday sale.

Google Pixel Deals Cannot Get Any Better

Both the Pixel 9 and Pixel 8 come with many AI features and Gemini Nano on-device model. The Pixel 9 is the most mature Pixel of all time in terms of the overall design. The Pixel 8 still makes sense for those who want to get started with a Pixel device on a low budget.

If you are looking to get the new Pixel 9 Pro Fold, it is now available for $1,799 $1,499. By trading in your old Pixel 7 Pro, you could essentially score it for $1,259. As for other early Black Friday Pixel deals, the Pixel Watch 3 41mm and 45mm are down to $279, and $329, respectively. Similarly, the Pixel Buds Pro 2 are at a discount of $50 for $179, which is a decent deal.

Not to mention, Google is offering great trade-in discounts on its Store as well. For starters, the base Pixel 9 costs $649 at the store but by trading in your existing Pixel 7 Pro, you can get $540 off and can score a new Pixel 9 for just $109, which is an excellent deal.
