Shikanoin Heizou Kit and Best Rotation
Shikanoin Heizou is an on-field Anemo DPS with his kit focused on triggering the Swirl reactions, which amplifies his damage output. Whenever Heizou triggers Swirl, he gets a Declension stack, which can then be consumed when using Heartstopper Strike, dealing increased damage. Heizou can also gain a Declension stack by holding his Skill button and charging it up, which is not ideal for his kit.
The Elemental Burst does a big AoE Anemo damage and triggering Swirl with it also makes it deal another instance of damage. Overall, Shikanoin Heizou can be a decent DPS in both early and mid-game content with his best build, and his play style is quite fun for players who like close combat action.
- His Passive allows him to gain Declension stacks when triggering Swirl.
- Heizou’s elemental burst does additional instances of damage when triggering Swirl.
- His charged normal attack is a guaranteed swirl with each hit.
- He can also obtain Declension stacks by holding his Skill button.
Shikanoin Heizou Best Artifacts
- 4-piece Viridescent Venerer
- 2-piece Viridescent Venerer and 2-piece Gladiator’s Finale
The 4-piece Viridescent Venerer is the best artifact set for Shikanoin Heizou, as it increases Anemo damage and damage from Swirl reactions by a lot. This artifact set is perfect for Heizou and should always be prioritized over anything else.
Other than that, the 2-piece Viridescent Venerer and 2-piece Gladiator’s Finale are also a decent option, but they lose a lot on the increased Swirl damage compared to the 4-piece Viridescent Venerer set.
Best Shikanoin Heizou Build: Main and Sub-Stats Priority
Heizou can have an EM or Crit build, however, his Crit Build has more damage and also has more uses for him. For his Crit build use Attack% Sands, Anemo Damage Goblet, and Crit Circlet. When it comes to her EM Build, use an EM Sands, Goblet, and Circlet.
For Sub stats priority, try to reach 70% or higher Crit rate, at least 160% Crit Damage, 120% Energy Regen, and the rest of the stats into his Attack %.
Artifact Main / Sub-Stat Flower Flat HP / Crit Rate ≡ Crit Damage > Attack % > EM > Energy Feather Flat ATK / Crit Rate ≡ Crit Damage > Attack % > EM > Energy Sands ATK % / Crit Rate ≡ Crit Damage > EM > Energy Goblet Anemo DMG / Crit Rate ≡ Crit Damage > Attack % > EM > Energy Circlet Crit Damage ≡ Crit Rate / Crit Rate ≡ Crit Damage > Attack % > EM > Energy
Genshin Impact Shikanoin Heizou Talents
- Fuduo Style Martial Arts (Normal Attack): The normal attack does a 5-hit fisticuffs combo, dealing Anemo damage. Charged Attack consumes stamina and performs a sweeping kick, dealing Anemo damage. Plunging Attack makes Heizou plunge towards the ground from mid-air, damaging all opponents in his path, and dealing AoE Anemo damage upon impact with the ground.
- Heartstopper Strike (Elemental Skill): Pressing the Skill button makes Heizou launch a Heartstopper strike, dealing Anemo damage. By holding the Skill button, Heizo charges energy and obtains the Declension effect, which increases the power of the Heartstopper strike. When the skill button is released or the skill finishes charging, he will strike forward, dealing Anemo damage. Declesion increases the power of the next Heartstopper Strike and can stack 4 times max. At 4 stacks, the Conviction effect is produced, which causes the next Heartstopper Strike to be an even stronger and larger AoE.
- Windmuster Kick (Elemental Burst): Heizou leap kicks his opponent using the Fudou Style Vacuum Slugger. On hit, it will create an Arresting Windtunnel, pulling nearby objects and enemies, dealing AoE Anemo damage. When this attack hits enemies affected Hydro/Pyro/Cryo/Electro, these opponents will be afflicted with Windmuster Iris. This Windmuster Iris will explode after a moment and dissipate, dealing AoE Damage of the corresponding aforementioned elemental type. Vacuum Slugger can afflict a maximum of 4 enemies with the Windmuster Iris. A single opponent cannot be under the effect of Windmuster Irises of different elements at the same time.
Genshin Impact Shikanoin Heizou Passives
- Pre-Exiting Guilt: Party members’ stamina consumption reduces by 20%. Non-stackable with other similar Passive Talents.
- Paradoxical Practice: When Heizou triggers a Swirl elemental reaction, he gains 1 Declension stack for Heartstopper Strike, and this effect can trigger once every 0.1 seconds.
- Penetrative Reasoning: When Heizou strikes an enemy with Heartstopper Strike, all party members get increased Elemental Mastery by 80, for 10 seconds. This effect does not apply to Heizou himself.
Genshin Impact Shikanoin Heizou Weapons
- The Widsith
- Solar Pearl
- Sacrificial Fragments
- Lost Prayers to the Sacred Wind
- Skyward Atlas
The Widsith is a clear favorite for Shikanoin Heizou’s weapon in his best build, as it increases Crit Damage by 50% as a bonus effect, and further increases Heizou’s Attack, Elemental Mastery, or Elemental Damage from the weapon’s skill. Other than that, the Solar Pearl and Sacrificial Fragments are also good alternative weapons for Heizou.
The Lost Prayers to the Sacred Wind and Skyward Atlas are the best 5-star weapon options for Heizou, although, I won’t recommend wasting a 5-star weapon on him when there are other good 4-star options available.
Shikanoin Heizou Constellations
- Named Juvenile Casebook (C1): After Heizou enters the field, his Normal Attack speed increases by 15%, and he also gains one stack of Declension for Heartstopper Strike.
- Investigative Collection (C2): The pull effect of the Arresting Windtunnel by his Elemental Burst, is enhanced and its duration is increased to 1 second.
- Esoteric Puzzle Book (C3): Elemental Skill level + 3 up to level 15 max.
- Tome of Lies (C4): The first explosion of the Windmuster Iris in each Windmuster Kick, regenerates 9 Elemental Energy for Heizou. Every subsequent explosion regenerates an additional 1.5 energy each. In total, each Windmust Kick can regenerate 13.5 energy.
- Secret Archive (C5): Elemental Burst level + 3 up to level 15 max.
- Curious Casefiles (C6): Each Declension stack increases the Crit rate of the Heartstopper Strike unleashed by 4%. When he possesses Conviction, this Heartstopper Strike’s Crit Damage is increased by 32%.
Heizou’s constellations are very important for his kit’s damage output. His C1 increases his Normal Attack speed after entering the field and also gives him one stack of Declension, making it easier to get the max stacks. Other than that, his C4 allows his Windmuster Kicks to regenerate around 13.5 energy each, which is pretty good. His C6 massive increases his damage potential, increasing his Crit Rate by 4% for each Declension stack.
