Is Ineffa Worth Pulling? Pros and Cons

Ineffa is the first character from Nod-Krai and will work as a guide for the traveler in the new region. This means that she will likely become better as more artifacts, weapons, and characters are released in Nod-Krai. So, is Ineffa worth pulling in Genshin Impact? Let’s find out by checking the character’s pros and cons.

ProsCons
Extremely strong off-field Sub-DPSThe shields are not that strong
Enables Lunar Charged reactions
Fits into most teams
Provides shields to the entire team

Ineffa has mostly pros and is highly recommended for Genshin Impact players. She can deal insane amounts of damage while staying off-field. Ineffa also enables new Lunar-charged reactions, which are basically electro-charged reactions that can deal CRIT damage. This makes her invaluable and probably the strongest Electro Sub-DPS in the game.

Should You Get Ineffa’s Signature Weapon?

Ineffa’s signature polearm, Fractured Halo, is strong for increasing both her and the team’s damage. The Fractured Halo increases Attack by 24% and when the equipping character makes a shield, it increases all allies’ Lunar Charged damage by 40%. Equipping Ineffa’s signature weapon will greatly increase her damage output.

However, Ineffa also has other good weapon options as suggested below. She strictly doesn’t need her signature weapon, but I would recommend you get it over her C1.

Ineffa can double the team’s damage output if you use her kit and build her correctly. So, check out Ineffa’s best build in Genshin Impact:

Now, this doesn’t mean that Ineffa doesn’t have equally good alternative builds. We have provided alternative weapons, artifacts, and stats for Ineffa’s build below.

Ineffa Weapons: Best and Alternatives

Symphonist of Scents5-starGreat
Lumidouce Elegy5-starGreat

Staff of Homa5-starGood
Battle of the Fjords4-starGood
Deathmatch4-starGood
Missive Windspear4-starBest F2P
Kitain Cross4-starDecent
Favonius Lance4-starDecent

Ineffa can choose from a ton of good weapon options in Genshin Impact. With the high number of good polerarm characters in the game, it is no shock that Ineffa has a ton of choices to pick through. Still, her signature weapon, Fractured Halo, is the best weapon for Ineffa.

Apart from that, Staff of the Scarlet Sands, Symphonist of Scents, Lumidouce Elegy, and Calamity Queller are Ineffa’s best 5-star weapon alternatives. For 4-star polearms, you can use Battle of the Fjords, Deathmatch, and Missive Windspear. Missive Windspear is also Ineffa’s best F2P option.

Ineffa Artifacts: Best and Alternatives

NameValue
Guilded DreamsBest
Thundering FuryGreat
Tenacity of the MillelithGood

For pure damage output, 4-piece Guilded Dreams is the best artifact for Ineffa. It greatly increases Elemental Mastery and ATK%, making it great for Ineffa. However, 4-piece Thundering Fury is not far behind and is also a great set for increasing Electro-charged reaction damage.

Other than that, 4-piece Tenacity of the Millelith is good for increasing the team damage and shield strength. There is a good chance that Ineffa’s true best artifact will release with the Nod-Krai update.

Although the above artifacts are excellent for her, none of them are tailor-made for Lunar-charged reactions. So, expect Ineffa to get a dedicated artifact set in Nod-Krai.

StatRecommended ValuePriority
Crit Rate70% or aboveHighest
Crit Damage150% or aboveHigh
Attack2500+High
Elemental MasteryUp to 350Medium

When it comes to stats, we suggest you simply maximize the Crit Rate on Ineffa first. As Lunar-Charged reactions can CRIT, you do not want to miss a CRIT chance. Next, make sure to get at least 150% Crit Damage; the more the better.

Follow up with the ATK% stat, as it scales Ineffa’s entire damage. The more attacks you can have on Ineffa, the better. Finally, you can put EM and ERR on Ineffa, but these are not her priorities.

Genshin Impact Ineffa Kit: Talents, Constellations, and Rotations

Genshin Impact Ineffa Rotation

Skill > Burst > Swap > Repeat

When it comes to Ineffa’s rotation in Genshin Impact, start with Skill and then use her Elemental Burst. Next, swap to your other characters, based on the team comp you have chosen to apply the elements correctly on the enemies.

Once you have procced the elemental reaction, repeat the same thing again to restore your shield and Ineffa’s summon. You can completely ignore Ineffa’s basic attacks as they don’t provide any additions to her abilities.
