Phantom Feather Flurry — Chasca’s Normal Attack
- Normal Attack: Chasca shoots up to 4 consecutive times with her bow.
- Charged Attack: Precisely aims a shot, dealing increased damage. The fully charged shot deals Anemo damage.
- Plunging Attack: Fires off a shower of arrows in mid-air before falling and striking the ground, hitting enemies along the path and dealing AoE damage upon impact.
Spirit Reins, Shadow Hunt — Chasca’s Elemental Skill
When Chasca uses her Elemental Skill, she deals Nightsoul-aligned AoE anemo damage and gains 80 Nightsoul points. Next, she enters the Night Soul Blessing.
- Nightsoul’s Blessing: Chasca consumes Nightsoul points continuosly and becomes airborne on her mount, called ‘Soulsniper Ritual Staff’, increasing her movement speed and interruption resistance. Sprinting or increasing height in this state consumes additional Nightsoul points. The Nightsoul blessing state ends when Chasca consumes all her Nightsoul points or when she uses her Skill again. Chasca can remain airborne as long as she is consuming Nightsoul points. Her Normal attacks are transformed into Multitarget Fire in this state.
- Multi-target Fire: Tapping the Normal attack button while in the Nightsoul Blessing makes Chasca shoot arrows, dealing Nightsoul-aligned Anemo damage to enemies in front. Holding the attack button allows Chasca to aim and chose a certain number of opponents in range. While aiming, Chasca loads Shadowhunt Shells up to 6 times, based on the charged duration, and shoots them all at once at the chosen enemies in sequence.
- Shadowhunt Shells: Deals Nightsoul-aligned Anemo damage to opponents at the front and is considered Charged attack damage. The 4th, 5th, and 6th Shells loaded into the cylinder undergoes Elemental Conversion based on the Elemental Types of the other characters in the party.
– For each Pyro, Hydro, Cryo, or Electro character in the party, one Shadowhunt Shell will randomly be Converted into a “Shining Shadowhunt Shell” of one of these corresponding Elemental Types, dealing Nightsoul-aligned damage corresponding to that Elemental Type.
– This damage is considered Charged Attack damage. The Shells loaded into the cylinder are fired starting from the last Shadowhunt Shell to be loaded, in a “last in, first out” order.
Additionally, holding the Elemental Skill button while Chasca is in the Nightsoul’s Blessing state, causes her to execute a Nightsoul-aligned Plunging Attack. Release the Elemental Skill to interrupt this Plunging Attack and maintain her airborne state. The Nightsoul Blessing state ends if Chasca hits the ground with her Plunging Attack.
Soul Reaper’s Fatal Round — Chasca’s Elemental Burst
Chasca fires a single Galesplitting Soulseeker Shell, dealing Nightsoul-aligned AoE Anemo damage. Afterwards, this shell splits into 6 Soulseeker Shells, attacking nearby enemies.
- Soulseeker Shells: These shells deal Nightsoul-aligned Anemo damage. For each Pyro, Hydro, Cryo, or Electro character in the party, two Soulseeker Shells will be converted into a “Radiant Soulseeker Shells”, dealing Nightsoul-aligned Elemental Damage from the randomly selected element of the ally.
Chasca’s Passives in Genshin Impact
- Mediation’s True Meaning: When party members defeats an opponent, 25 Phlogiston is restored. This effect can trigger once every 12 seconds and has no effect in Domains, Trounce Domains, or the Spiral Abyss.
- Night Realm’s Gift: Everburning Heart: After her Nightsoul points are exhausted, Chasca switches to consuming Phlogiston to maintain her Nightsoul’s Blessing. While in an area with Phlogiston Mechanics within Natlan, she can use Nightsoul Transmission: Chasca. When the active character is in the air, switching to Chasca will make her enter the Nightsoul’s Blessing state and gain 32 Nightsoul points. Nightsoul Transmission can be triggered once every 10 seconds by your own team.
- Bullet Trick: When the Elemental Skill is being charged, if there are party members who meet the Elemental Conversion Type requirements, gain the following effects based on the number of different eligible Elemental Types present:
– There is a 33.3%/66.7%/100% chance for each type to trigger “Spiritbinding Conversion” and cause the 3rd Shadowhunt Shell loaded into the cylinder to be randomly converted into a Shining Shadowhunt Shell from one of the corresponding Elemental Types.
– Each element type will grant Chasca 1 stack of Spirit of the Radiant Shadow (max 3 stacks), increasing the damage of Shining Shadowhunt Shell by 15%/35%/65%. This effect lasts until the current Multitarget Fire ends. - Intent to Cover: When an ally triggers a Nightsoul Burst, Chasca will fire a “Burning Shadowhunt Shot” at a nearby opponent, dealing Nightsoul-aligned Anemo Damage equal to 150% of the Shadowhunt Shell Damage from her Elemental Skill. If the party has Pyro, Hydro, Cryo, or Electro characters, the Burning Shadowhunt Shot will be converted to deal Nightsoul-aligned Elemental Damage of the corresponding Elemental Type equal to 150% of the Damage dealt by Spirit Reins, Shadow Hunt’s Shining Shadowhunt Shells. The Damage done in this way is considered Charged Attack Damage.

– If there are party members who meet the Elemental Conversion Type requirements, the chance to trigger “Spiritbinding Conversion” is increased by 33.3%, up to a maximum of 100%. You must first unlock the Passive Talent “Bullet Trick.”
– In addition, Chasca’s Nightsoul point and Phlogiston consumption in her Nightsoul’s Blessing state is decreased by 30% while out of combat. Nightsoul Blessing state is reduced by 30% outside of combat. - C2 (Muzzle, the Searing Smoke): After Chasca takes the field, she obtains 1 stack of “Spirit of the Radiant Shadow” from the Passive Talent “Bullet Trick.” In addition, when the Shining Shadowhunt Shells from her Elemental Skill hit opponents, they will deal AoE Elemental damage of the corresponding Elemental Type of the Shining Shadowhunt Shells equal to 400% of Chasca’s Attack. This damage is considered Charged Attack damage. This effect can be triggered once each time Chasca uses Multitarget Fire.
- C3 (Reins, Her Careful Control): Elemental Skill + 3.
- C4 (Sparks, the Sudden Shot): When the Radiant Soulseeker Shells from Soul Reaper’s Fatal Round hit opponents, they restore 1.5 Elemental Energy to Chasca, and deal AoE Elemental damage of the corresponding Elemental Type of the Radiant Soulseeker Shells equal to 400% of Chasca’s Attack. This damage is considered Charged Attack damage. The aforementioned corresponding elemental AoE damage effect can be triggered once each time Chasca uses Soul Reaper’s Fatal Round.
- C5 (Brim, the Sandshadow’s Silhouette): Elemental Burst + 3.
- C6 (Showdown, the Glory of Battle): Chasca’s Multitarget Fire charge time is decreased, and after the Passive Talent “Bullet Trick”‘s “Spiritbinding Conversion” is triggered, Chasca gains the “Fatal Rounds” state:
– For the next 3 seconds, the next time Chasca uses Spirit Reins, Shadow Hunt’s Multitarget Fire, the shots will finish charging instantly, and the crit damage of that instance of Multitarget Fire increases by 120%.
– One “Fatal Rounds” effect can be gained once every 3 seconds.
When it comes to Chasca’s constellations, her C1 and C2 looks particularly strong, especially with the massive damage multiplier added to it. However, they are not must-pulls, showing that Chasca’s base kit is strong enough against most things the game throws at you.
