Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 Map Changes and New POIs

Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 has finally arrived, and it brings some of the biggest map changes players have seen in a while. For the first time in history, Epic Games has introduced a brand new island halfway through the chapter, which is called Shattered Coast. As such, players will take some time to get used to the Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 map changes. To help with that, we have compiled everything you need to know about the Shattered Coast map changes.

All New POIs in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 Map

As mentioned, Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 introduces a whole new island called Shattered Coast for players to battle it out on. This means a plethora of new POIs to explore, with only a few surviving from the Golden Coast island. Here is a list of all of the new POIs in the Chapter 7 Season 3 map:

Lifty Lodge

Kicking off our list of the new POIs on the Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 map is Lifty Lodge. This skiing-inspired POI is located in the northwest corner of the map in the snowy mountains. Players can find a massive zipline near the main building of this POI, providing a layer of verticality to combat here.

Battlewoods

Battlewood Boulevard has lost all the glam, and nature has taken over. The Battlewoods POI, located near the center of the map, carries over the Battlewood sign from previous seasons and places it in a landmark that is teeming with trees surrounding its many buildings. This will be a great landing spot for players looking to stock up on wood as early as possible.

Sinister Strip

The Dark Voyager has taken over Sandy Strip after his victory in the Shattered live event, transforming it into a propaganda piece for himself. Apart from having a statue of himself on a throne, the shape at Sinister Strip now (reluctantly) tells players to support the Dark Voyager.

Frosted Flats

The Ice King may have been lost after the Fortnite Shattered live event, yet his influence continues to live on with the Frosted Flats POI. This POI is located extremely close to the Zero Point at the center of the Fortnite Shattered Coast map, and it is home to a FrosDeez store from previous chapters of the game.

Shaken Sanctuary

The Foundation losing the Showdown Rivalries event, along with The Visitor’s betrayal, has left the New Sanctuary POI a shell of its former self. Losing the New Sanctuary Vault from last season, this POI will likely remain stagnant until The Foundation manages to make his return to the storyline.

Cluster Coast

The Cluster skin from the Runners Battle Pass seems to be a big deal, as the Cluster Coast POI on the Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 map is entirely dedicated to it. Cluster Coast sits at the southeast edge of the Shattered Coast island, with Cluster-themed decorations adorning the entire location.

Sunken Shores

Squibbly Shores from Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2 has managed to stay on the map in the form of Sunken Shores. Receiving a massive overhaul, this is the southermost location on the Shattered Coast island.

Heatwave Harbor

The industrial POI on the Chapter 7 Season 3 map is called Heatwave Harbor. Housing multiple high-rise buildings and a functional port, this POI could tie into the Runners storyline later in the season.

Calamari Canyon

If Squibbly was still around, he would definitely hate Calamari Canyon, which is located west of the Zero Point in the desert biome. Not much is known about this POI yet, but players can expect seafood-themed items and decorations when they land here.

Chopped Shop

The last new POI on our list is Chopped Shop, which seems to be a landmark based entirely around building and modifying vehicles. It is unclear whether the POI is just an aesthetic choice or could pave the way for the return of vehicle mods in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3.
