Epic Games just announced some news that a lot of Fortnite players have been waiting for. After bringing back the original Fortnite experience in December 2024, they’re now getting ready to move to the next phase. Fortnite OG Chapter 1 Season 2 is coming on January 31, 2025, and it’s bringing back some things that older players might remember well.

The first OG season has been pretty successful, letting players experience what Fortnite was like in its early days. It’s been interesting seeing new players try out the old map and items for the first time while many who played back then got to revisit their favorite spots.

Now, with Season 2 on the way, Epic is ready to show the next part of Fortnite’s history, and they’re bringing back one of the most famous locations the game has ever had.

Fortnite OG Season 2: What’s Coming

The biggest change you’ll notice is that the Tilted Towers are coming back to Fortnite. If you weren’t around for the original Tilted Towers, it’s a city area with tall buildings known for having good loot, but that means you’ll probably have to fight other players to get it.

The new Battle Pass will have some familiar faces but with a new look. The Black Knight skin is coming back, but it’s not exactly the same as the original. Epic has changed some details to make it look a bit different. They’re calling it “Remix Black Knight.” You’ll also be able to get new versions of Sparkle Specialist and Cuddle Team Leader in the Battle Pass.

The map is getting some other old locations back too. You’ll be able to visit places like Shifty Shafts, Junk Junction, Snobby Shores, and Haunted Hills, which is exactly what it sounds like – a spooky area with graves and old buildings.

If you’re still working on finishing the current OG Season 1 Battle Pass, you have until January 31 to get it done. After that, some of the items might show up in the shop, but they’ll probably cost more V-Bucks than getting them through the Battle Pass.

One thing to keep in mind is that this season probably won’t last as long as seasons usually do. Epic is making these OG seasons shorter than normal, so you might want to start working on the new Battle Pass as soon as it comes out to get everything.

That’s pretty much everything we know about Fortnite OG Season 2 right now. The update arrives on January 31, so you’ve got some time to finish up anything you’re working on in the current season before the new one starts.
