The hype around Fortnite OG keeps getting bigger with each new season. However, before closing the curtains on Fortnite OG Season 4, Epic is recreating the original rocket launch event live in the game. Sounds exciting? Fortnite OG Blast Off Live Event Start Time

Fortnite OG Blast Off live event kicks off on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at 11:00 AM PT. This one-time event is happening weeks before OG Season 4 ends on August 8, 2025.

Since it is a recreation of the OG rocket launch, a big rift will likely open at the end of the live event. That said, if you are from a different region, follow our schedule below to know when the Fortnite OG live event starts in your region:

How to Watch Fortnite OG Blast Off Live Event

To watch the rocket launch in the Fortnite OG Blast Off event live, players must queue up in the OG lobby before it begins. However, unlike the Galactic Battle event, players won’t have any special gameplay during the event. The rocket will launch toward the sky, similarly to the original rocket launch, and create a rift. So, if you don’t want to miss out on the event live, join the Fortnite OG lobby a few minutes early.

For the Fortnite OG live event, players can expect a rocket launch event similar to the original from Fortnite Chapter 1. In the Superman Fortress of Solitude update, Epic Games added the files for the live event. As usual, multiple known dataminers leaked the official event from the files. If you look closer, the rift opening at the end is red.

After the rift opens completely, we can expect some OG map changes for the final time before a new season goes live next month. Moreover, Epic could unvault new weapons to mix up the loot pool and gameplay. Fortnite hasn’t revealed any details about the event.
