Fortnite OG has been providing players with a perfect hit of nostalgia ever since its launch, allowing them to live the glory days on the Chapter 1 map. With OG Season 7 going strong and bringing the winter vibe to the classic island, Epic Games has now added the infamous Infinity Blade back to the game.
If you are looking to get your hands on this powerful weapon, here’s everything you need to know about the Infinity Blade in Fortnite OG Season 7.
Fortnite OG Infinity Blade Location in Season 7
You can find the Infinity Blade at the Polar Peak POI, the home of the Ice King and the location of the Ice Storm live event in Chapter 1 Season 7. There is only one Infinity Blade in every OG lobby, and you can find it buried in the centre of Polar Peak. To acquire it, you have to pull it out of the ground by interacting with it. However, if you remember Chapter 1 Season 7, the Infinity Blade is bound to be heavily contested. This means you have to be careful about how you approach the weapon.
Once you have the Infinity Blade in your possession, you need to know how to use it. Upon acquiring the Blade, you will receive a boost in both HP and Shields, with both of these stats going from 100 to 200.
How to Use the Infinity Blade in Fortnite OG
The Infinity Blade features two attacks that you can use. The primary attack, which is bound to the left mouse button on PC and R2/RT on controllers, allows you to swing the Blade around and damage your enemies. The secondary attack, bound to the right mouse button on PC and L2/LT on controllers, allows you to leap forward and land on enemies while destroying all structures in your path.
Damage Stats
- Primary Attack: 75 damage per hit
- Secondary Attack: 25 damage per hit
The Infinity Blade is an extremely powerful weapon if used correctly. This is because the weapon features a Siphon ability that grants you 50 health or shield upon scoring an elimination. Not only that, but the Infinity Blade also provides you with 1 health or shield per second while also boosting your movement speed by 30%.
However, the weapon comes with its downsides too. When in possession of the Infinity Blade, you cannot carry any other items, like weapons or Minis. Additionally, you also lose the ability to build, forcing you to rely on brute force when facing enemies.
