However, this hasn’t stopped Epic from releasing new crossovers, and it has now been revealed that players can have a chance to earn free Game of Thrones skins in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2. If you want to have a go at getting these outfits for free, here is everything you need to know.
When Do Fortnite Game of Thrones Skins Come Out?
The Game of Thrones collab skins will arrive in the Fortnite Item Shop on March 20, 2026, at 8 PM ET when the shop resets. The skins are being released as part of the celebration for the show’s 15th anniversary, and will feature much more than just skins for the characters.
How to Get Jon Snow Fortnite Skin for Free
You can get the Jon Snow skin in Fortnite for free by taking part in the Jon Snow Cup that will take place on March 20 – March 21, 2026, depending on your region. You can check the Compete tab in-game for exact timings. Players who take part in this cup and manage to secure the required positions will be automatically granted the Jon Snow skin for free.
The Jon Snow Cup is a solo tournament and will take place in the Battle Royale mode across all platforms. Thanks to Fortnite returning to the Google Play Store, even Android players can have a shot at earning this skin for free. How to Get Night King Fortnite Skin for Free
Similar to the Jon Snow skin, you can get the Night King Fortnite skin by taking part in the Night King Cup. This cup will take place right alongside the Jon Snow Cup on March 20 – March 21, 2026, depending on your region. You can check the Compete tab in-game for exact timings for this tourney as well. Another solo tournament, this cup will have similar placement criteria to get the Night King Fortnite skin and other cosmetics for free:

If you don’t manage to perform well in either of these tournaments, don’t worry! Both the Night King and Jon Snow Fortnite skins will be released in the Fortnite Item Shop around the same time as the Cups.
How to Get Daenerys Targaryen Skin in Fortnite
Unlike the other Game of Thrones skins, players can only get the Daenerys Targaryen Fortnite skin when she hits the Fortnite Item Shop, along with the Jon Snow and Night skins. She will likely be paired with the Jon Snow and Night King skins in the Ice and Fire bundle, allowing them to get all three skins at a discounted price.
How to Buy Fortnite Game of Thrones Skins
Much like the Fortnite x The Office skins, all of the skins featured in the Fortnite Game of Thrones collab will be a part of the Ice and Fire bundle in the Fortnite Item Shop. To add the Game of Thrones bundle to your locker, you can follow these steps:
- Head to the Fortnite Item Shop tab from the top bar in the lobby.
- Locate the Game of Thrones bundle. You should be able to find it near the top fold, as it will be a new release.
- If you can’t locate it at the top, scroll down to find the bundle listed alongside all the cosmetics featured in it.
- Click on the bundle or the skin you want to purchase.
- Before going through with the transaction, make sure you have enough V-Bucks for the bundle or the skin you want to buy. If not, you can head to the Fortnite V-Bucks Store to purchase some.
- Buy the bundle/skin by hitting the Purchase button.
- Head to your locker, and you should find the new Game of Thrones skins there.
