- Epic Games confirms Sprites will return in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4.
- Sprites collected in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 will be immortalized in the Sprite Garden.
- Five Sprites from the Fortnite Design A Sprite contest will be added next season.
Epic Games has officially confirmed that Sprites will return in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4. According to Epic, the new season will bring a whole new generation of Fortnite Sprites to collect and master. This includes new powers and variants alongside a new feature called Sprite Garden.
In a new community post by Epic Games, Sprites are returning in the next Battle Royale season, but unfortunately you won’t be able to use the Fortnite Sprites from your Chapter 7 Season 3 collection.
This doesn’t mean they’ll be gone completely; instead, according to Epic, they will be “immortalized in the new Sprite Garden, which is an island getaway where you can play with your Sprites, visit friends’ garden sanctuaries, and showcase your entire collection.”
As you gather Sprites over the course of Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 Override, they will immediately be added to the Sprite Garden, alongside your collection. We can assume that, much like the current season, you should be able to spend Sprite Dust to summon lost Sprites in a Battle Royale match.
Furthermore, Epic also stated, “Your Season 3 Sprites will live on in this new Garden, as unlocked styles in the Fortnite Sprite Mastery Pod Back Bling and pilots in the Guardian Outfit, and stay as part of your Sprite Collection page alongside this new generation.”
Lastly, there’s a small possibility that Sprites from the past Fortnite seasons could return. If you’ve missed out on collecting them, this will be your opportunity to complete your collection.
Epic Games has also revealed five new Sprites that will be part of Fortnite Override season. These are designs that were chosen via the Design A Sprite Fortnite Contest. These Fortnite Sprites will arrive on the island mid-Chapter 7 Season 4. They are: Bullet Sprite, Pond Sprite, Dumpster Dive Sprite, Honey Sprite, and X-Ray Sprite.
Finally, Epic has also announced that the upcoming Sprite Garden is built in collaboration with Fairview Portals and Beyond Creative, and will indeed evolves over time as Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 progresses.
