Earlier this year, Eiichiro Oda’s one-shot manga, Monsters, received an anime adaptation. With this latest news, it looks like 2024 might be the best year for the Mangakas, as we are getting yet another anime adaptation of a one-shot manga. This time, Chainsaw Man creator Tatsuki Fujimoto’s “Look Back” one-shot is getting an anime movie from Studio Dorian.
Look Back Anime Movie Release Date
Fujimoto sensei was well-known for his one-shot manga before Chainsaw Man became a mega-hit, animated by MAPPA Studios. But now, one of his best works has received the green light to get an anime movie adaptation.
Recently, one of the best arcs in CSM also received a movie adaptation titled Reze Arc. Hence, this is going to be a double delight to Fujimoto fans.
The Look Back project is helmed by Kiyotaka Oshiyama and Studio Dorian. Furthermore, Look Back is confirmed to be released on June 28, 2024, in Japan. There is no word on the international release just yet. The announcement came in the form of a teaser, which you can watch here:
