All Weapons Buffs and Nerfs in Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 5

A new season of Black Ops 6 and Warzone brings with it a fresh set of weapon buffs and nerfs that should spice up the meta in some interesting ways. Season 5 looks primed to be the biggest content update Call of Duty has received in quite a while, with four new weapons and a major Stadium remodelling on the cards. On the weapon balancing side, Treyarch are implementing changes to increase the adoption of guns with low pick rates. On that note, here are all the weapons buffs and nerfs coming to Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 5.

Developer’s Note: The LC10 now features reduced damage range and requires more precision to hit its optimal TTK. Arm shots now deal the same reduced damage as lower torso hits. We implemented this adjustment cautiously to avoid over-nerfing and will continue to monitor its performance closely.

Developer’s Note: The HDR has firmly held the top spot in the sniper meta, often overshadowing other options. We approached this adjustment carefully, our goal wasn’t to knock it out of viability, but to bring it more in line with the rest of the class. A reduction to bullet velocity and a small ADS speed nerf should make long-range shots require a bit more skill while keeping the HDR a strong, rewarding choice.
