Eida, aka Ada’s, overpowered Omnipotence ability rewrote reality and set the stage for the Boruto: Two Blue Vortex manga. Although almost everyone was affected by the reality-altering ability, Sarada and Sumire remained unaffected apart from the Otsutsuki members. The current Hokage, Shikamaru, warned Sumire and Sarada not to reveal the truth about them remaining unaffected by Eida’s powers since chapter 1. However, they couldn’t hold their secrets for a long time as Eida cracks the case in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 26.
Eida Finds Out that Sarada and Sumire Are Immune to Her Powers
From the beginning, Eida has always questioned how Sarada and Sumire pull off the impossible of retaining their memories. When Eida relentlessly pressed them further about why they weren’t charmed by her, Sumire dodged the situation by telling her that they were maintaining a facade and concealing their true emotions in front of her.
This trio has always been ready to gossip and discuss each other’s feelings. Sumire and Sarada once again open up about their feelings in Boruto Two Blue Vortex chapter 26 when Eida asks them about when they will confess their true feelings to Boruto. Without realizing their blunder, Sarada and Sumire walk right into the trap by sharing their true feelings for Boruto at length.
Eida quickly pieces together and once again questions them about how they can remain unaffected by her charm. Sarada and Sumire both went silent, realizing the blatant mistake they had made after being warned not to by Shikamaru earlier. This silence alone told Eida everything she needed to know about the truth they had been guarding all along.
Daemon Completely Overwhelms Sarada in Boruto
Eida soon figured out that her enchantment didn’t work on them by observing both Sumire and Sarada openly express their feelings while being in front of her. That’s not how her charm ability works, and it led to both Sumire and Sarada getting caught red-handed. Sarada realizes they have messed up big time and tries to utilize her newly awakened Mangekyou Sharingan powers. However, Daemon, who overheard their conversations, rushes in and grabs hold of their necks.
The new chapter ends with Sarada and Sumire’s lives in danger, as Daemon has left them utterly powerless. Even the overpowered Mangekyou Sharingan was rendered useless after Daemon took control of the situation very quickly.
In the same chapter, Mamushi confirms that Eida is his target, and it is implied that he will be the one attacking the cyborg duo next. Based on the cliffhanger ending, Eida is the only hope for Sarada and Sumire to come out unscathed, as the former yearns for friends who aren’t affected by her powers. On the other hand, things can get even messier if Mamushi invades Konoha to claim Eida.
