The M4A1 Carbine has emerged as the mid-range meta in Battlefield 6, thanks to the weapon’s outstanding handling and fire rate. This doesn’t come as a surprise since the gun was pretty solid in the Open Beta, and its strengths have seamlessly carried over to the full release version as well. To polish out the carbine’s shortcomings and neutralize its recoil, you’ll need to pair it with the meta attachments. With this in mind, here’s the best M4A1 loadout to use in Battlefield 6.
Best Battlefield 6 M4A1 Loadout
- Top Accessory: 5 MW Red
- Muzzle: Double-Port Brake
- Barrel: 14.5″ Extended
- Underbarrel: Ribbed Vertical
- Scope: Mini Flex 1.00X
- Magazine: 30 RND Fast Mag
- Ammunition: Tungsten Core
- Ergonomic: Improved Mag Catch
This M4A1 loadout turns the Carbine into one of the best weapons in Battlefield 6. The objective is to allow the weapon’s 900 RPM fire rate to flourish across longer ranges, without worrying too much about the in-built bloom. The build starts with the Scope, where we’ve opted for the Mini Flex 1.0X. Of course, you’re free to go with any optic of your liking; some players are even rocking the iron sights on the M4A1.
To extend the gun’s range and make it more feasible for long-range burst firing, be sure to equip the 14.5″ Extended barrel. The added recoil can be offset by the Double-Port Brake and the Ribbed Vertical Underbarrel. If you’re still struggling with the kick, feel free to switch to Classic Vertical instead.
With hipfiring being a consistent way to rack up CQB kills, the added accuracy provided by the 5 MW Red Laser goes a long way. We found fast mags to feel really nice with the M4A1, and you can trim the reload times further by using the Improved Mag Catch. Finally, we recommend Tungsten Core Ammunition to round out the build, on account of the added bullet penetration.
Best M4A1 Class Setup in Battlefield 6
Since no Battlefield 6 class is proficient in using Carbines, the answer here is a toss-up between Assault and Engineer. If you’re interested in running and gunning, then the M87A1 undersling, which comes with Assault, is the best choice for you. On the flip side, if you enjoy blowing things up, go for Engineer for all the launchers at the class’s disposal.
- Class: Engineer
- Secondary: P18
- Gadget One: RPG-7V2
- Gadget Two: AV Mine
- Throwable: Frag
- Melee: Combat Knife
If you want to blow things up with minimal delay, then the RPV-7V2 is the best option to pick in the first Gadgets slot. We’ve opted for the AV Mine thanks to its ease of use in the second slot, but feel free to experiment with other options.
And that wraps up our guide on the best M4A1 loadout in Battlefield 6. Let us know how the class works out for you in the comments.
