However, upon defeating the boss, you’ll receive her boss weapon, which so happens to be one of the best Elden Ring magic staffs.
The Carian Regal Sceptre has a high equipment requirement, making it a late-game weapon for your sorcerer build. It has an impressive B-rank scaling with intelligence, making this a preferred choice for players with an INT build. Furthermore, if you have any full moon sorceries, which are essentially two magic spells, this weapon will passively buff them, allowing you to deal more damage to your opponents.
2. Azur’s Glintstone Staff
Equip requirement: 10 Strength, 52 Intelligence
Right up there beside Carian Regal Scepter, Azur’s Glintstone Staff is another great late-game staff. You can also find this staff at Raya Lucaria Academy in Elden Ring. However, you have to explore the area a little harder to find the weapon. If you spawn at the Debate Parlor Site of Grace, exit the room, and explore the left area. Azure Glintstone Staff is also a B-rank weapon in intelligence scaling.
Azur Glintstone Staff is perfect for players running pure sorcery builds, and want raw magical power to take out their opponents. It also allows you to cast magic faster, consuming a higher FP. However, that trade-off is fair if it lets players cast magic quickly.
3. Carian Glintstone Staff
Equip requirement: 6 Strength, 24 Intelligence, 8 Dexterity
When you enter the Carian Study Hall in Liurnia of the Lakes, you’ll find a magic staff called Carian Glintstone Staff right before the second lift. This Elden Ring staff is arguably a great mid-game weapon, or in some cases even a great early-game weapon if you’ve been leveling up properly.
The Carian Glintstone Staff is a C-rank weapon in intelligence scaling, which makes it a pretty good weapon. However, you’d want to use this magic staff because of its 15% sword sorcery buff. Sword sorceries are some of the strongest in-game. This magic staff in Elden Ring still allows you to enjoy fast-paced combat while running a magic build.
4. Lusat’s Glintstone Staff
Equip requirement: 10 Strength, 52 Intelligence
Deep in the region of Caelid exists a town named Sellia. And, right here you can face the duo bosses Nox Swordstress and Nox Priest. If you successfully overcome these two bosses, you can get yourself another solid magic staff in Elden Ring.
Lusat’s Glintstone Staff is another B-rank weapon in intelligence scaling, allowing you to perform serious damage against your opponent when used, consuming higher FP. While it doesn’t have any special buffs or advantages it does have a high damage output, which will annihilate bosses and enemies. The best part is that you can still wield this weapon without having the necessary strength requirement even if that means higher stamina usage.
5. Meteorite Staff
Equip requirement: 6 Strength, 18 Intelligence
Another great magic staff hides in a place located inside the scarlet rot-ridden Caelid. At the Aeonia Swamp, if you reach the Street of Sages Ruins, and locate a corpse in a room with poison flowers, you can find the Meteorite Staff. This Elden Ring staff also happens to be one of the best early-game staff thanks to its stat requirements and damage.
However, do note that this weapon has an S-rank in intelligence scaling and doesn’t allow any upgrading. But, you don’t need to, as Meteorite Staff boosts magic attacks efficiently. This makes the early-game experience easier, allowing you to enjoy the game. And, if you have the Rock Sling sorcery with you, you are in luck as Meteorite Staff in Elden Ring buffs any sorceries with gravity.
6. Academy Glintstone Staff
Equip requirement: 6 Strength, 28 Intelligence
When you reach the Raya Lucaria Academy, you can meet an NPC called Thops. When you reset the area, you’ll see he has moved outside of the Schoolhouse Classroom, sitting dead thereby giving you the Academy Glintstone Staff to claim.
This is a great alternative if you don’t enjoy using the regular Glintstone Staff. It allows you to scale the weapon throughout your journey and is beneficial if you are between levels 41 and 68. Since any staff within that level range has some downside which isn’t preferable, Academy Glintstone Staff is perfect with a B-rank in intelligence scaling, excluding any noticeable FP usage cost.
7. Carian Glintblade Staff
Equip requirement: 6 Strength, 22 Intelligence, 12 Dexterity
If you are someone who enjoys using magic blades to zone out your opponents and let the magic do its thing, I think this Elden Ring staff should be on your search list. To get it reach the Highway Lookout Tower in eastern Liurnia, you will find the Carian Glintblade Staff.
The Glintblade Staff comes with intelligence at C-grade, which means it isn’t the most well-rounded one compared to the others. However, equipping the Carian Glintblade Staff does allow you to buff any blade-based sorcery. Furthermore, you can upgrade this staff using any standard smithing stone, so it will become a trusty weapon for you throughout the game.
8. Crystal Staff
Equip requirement: 8 Strength, 48 Intelligence
If you can track the Academy Crystal Cave in Elden Ring, you stand the chance to possess one of the best weapons in-game. Equipping this staff in Elden Ring ensures each of your Crystalian sorceries gets a 10% damage boost. While that might not sound much, pure magic builds players will know how helpful this is. Crystal Torrent is one of the strongest Crystalian magics in-game, and getting a 10% boost is a strong addition to your magic roster. 10. Demi-Human Queen’s Staff
Equip requirement: 6 Strength, 10 Intelligence
Are you someone who runs a strength or dex build and wants to try out just a little bit of sorcery? However, you don’t want to commit your entire build to optimize for sorcery? Then Demi-Human Queen’s Staff is the perfect one for you. It has an extremely low Intelligence requirement, allowing you to tip-toe your way into the entire sorcery experience of Elden Ring.
Furthermore, because it has a low intelligence requirement, you can practically run yourself a strength-intelligence build, where you hit hard and perform magic. The Demi-Human Queen at Weeping Peninsula drops it, located at the Dedmi-Human Forest Ruins. So, if you ever want to try out some magic, try to get this staff.
