All Battlefield 6 Weapons
At launch, the game features 45 weapons, with six new guns joining as part of Battlefield 6 Season 1. We’ve listed every launch weapon across all classes below:
Assault Rifles

Reliable, versatile, and consistent — these are the hallmark traits of Assault Rifles — a class built for engagements across all ranges. ARs typically shine at close-quarters engagements and mid-range scruffles. Their long-distance abilities can be improved by equipping the right attachments, making this class the most versatile in the game. Here are all the Assault Rifles in Battlefield 6:
- M433 – Chambered in 5.56×45, this cutting-edge rifle is best suited for closer ranges due to its above-average rate of fire.
- NVO-228E – This powerful assault rifle chambered in 7.62 Soviet is a reliable weapon designed for mid-range encounters.
- B36A4 – A versatile carbine that can be modified to compete in both close-quarters and ranged encounters.
- AK4D – A classic battle rifle with a slow rate of fire, best utilized during mid to long-range engagements.
- KORD 6P67 – This low-recoil, high-rate-of-fire rifle performs well at both close and long ranges.
- L85A3 – With a steady rate of fire, this modified bullpup rifle favors mid to long-range engagements.
- TR-7 – With a relatively high fire rate and subsequent recoil, this popular bullpup battle rifle is better suited to close-range combat.
- SOR-556 MK2 – This modular rifle is an intermediate configuration. It’s highly accurate and best utilized at mid to long-range engagements.
Carbines

Carbines are like Assault Rifles, minus the versatility. Their smaller frames make them more portable, and depending on the weapon, Carbines can also pack more power and range. But these perks come at the cost of accessibility, meaning this weapon class isn’t for every player. Here are all the Carbines in the game:
- M4A1 – With its high cyclic rate, extending this carbine’s effective range requires competent recoil management.
- AK-205 – With an average cyclic rate and 5.45x39mm chambering, this rifle offers superior ranged performance.
- M417 A2 – Chambered in 7.62x51mm, this compact battle rifle offsets its high damage with a steady rate of fire.
- GRT-BC – A compact bullpup rifle with an above-average rate of fire and an intermediate chambering.
- M277 – Chambered in 6.8x51mm, this newly fielded rifle is intended for overmatch at range at the cost of magazine capacity.
- QBZ-192 – A modern rifle of East Asian origin chambered in the unique 5.8x42mm. Comes factory with a bipod grip for rapid, stabilized shooting.
- SG 553R – A classic Cold War era rifle modernized for export. Its effectiveness quickly diminishes beyond mid-range.
SMGs

Tailor-made for Battlefield 6’s close-range engagements, SMGs are a force to be reckoned with when it comes to getting up close and personal. They offer excellent mobility and handling, solid damage output, and a tinge of versatility when you need some range.
- SGX – A modern 9.19mm PDW suited for close-range engagements. It can be configured to improve its ranged capabilities.
- PW7A2 – A 4.6x30mm chambering ensures this PDW outperforms at range. Still effective in close quarters due to its high rate of fire.
- PW5A3: This popular SMG performs admirably in all engagements up to and including mid-range.
- SCW-10 – Chambered in 10mm, this modular modern SMG offers increased stopping power where other PDWs fall short.
- KV9 – With a blistering cyclic rate, this sleek SMG will near-instantly consume the ammunition within a standard magazine
- SL9 – Boasting a unique design, this cutting-edge SMG is adaptable to a variety of combat scenarios.
- UMG-40 – A renowned polymer SMG with a low rate of fire, chambered in .40 caliber. Outperforms its peers at mid-range encounters.
- USG-90 – A high-capacity PDW with a unique design. Lower effective damage is offset by a high rate of fire.
LMGs

Light Machine Guns are known for their vast ammo reserves and low recoil, allowing players to spray blindly for what may seem like an eternity. However, that ballistic bliss is handicapped by long reload times, which can leave you vulnerable for an extended duration. Here’s an overview of the LMGs in Battlefield 6:
- L110 – An all-purpose Squad automatic Weapon chambered in 5.56x45mm. Well-matched for most engagements.
- KTS100 MK8 – With low recoil and a steady RPM, this light machine gun’s moderate damage is offset by accurate suppressive fire.
- DRS IAR – A reliable LSW that blurs the boundary into service rifle. Attachments equipped decide how best to use the versatile firearm.
- KTS100 MB8 – With low recoil and a steady RPM, this light machine gun’s moderate damage is offset by accurate suppressive fire.
- M/60 – This widely used general-purpose machine gun is capable of keeping enemies suppressed with a slow and steady rate of fire
- M123K – An ideal LMG for mobile fire support. Will dominate in close-quarters and keep enemies suppressed with a high fire rate.
- M240L – A general-purpose machine gun modernized to improve weight and increase capacity. Effective in both aggressive and defensive roles.
- M250 – A companion to the M277 with a similar range over match effectiveness, combining suppressing fire with lethal ranged capacity.
- RPKM – The original Light Support Weapon. Relatively configurable and best suited for mid-range suppressive fire.
DMRs

Designated Marksman Rifles are precise weapons built for medium-range encounters. Their stopping power falls just short of the Sniper class, but the faster fire rate more than makes up for it. In the hands of seasoned players, DMRs can dominate servers effortlessly.
- M39 EMR – Chambered in 7.62x51mm, this versatile marksman rifle is a solid addition to any squad’s arsenal.
- SVK-8.6 – A precision rifle chambered in the powerful 8.6x70mm cartridge. Its lethality is offset by a lower rate of fire.
- SVDM – A classic marksman’s rifle modernized for the 21st century. The right configuration can offer extreme mobility or ranged eliminations.
- LMR27 – With an intermediate chambering, this cutting-edge precision rifle allows for rapid follow-shots at the cost of relatively low damage.
Sniper Rifles
Battlefield games have a reputation for satisfying sniping, and BF6 is no different. These weapons are unbeatable at long ranges, offering unmatched accuracy and incredible power. If you see the muzzle flash of these rifles, we recommend running for cover:
- M2010 ESR – This accurate Bolt-Action Sniper Rifle reaches targets at greater distances with its .300 WM chambering.
- PSR – Designed for extreme ranges, this sniper rifle is most effective between 75m-150m.
- SV-98 – Firing the legacy 7.72x54mmR, this balanced bolt-action rifle is most effective between 45-90m.
Shotguns

Clips of BF6 gameplay featuring a shotgun blowing enemies to smithereens frequently do the rounds online, which should give you an indication of what this class is all about. There’s no better tool to clear enemies hiding inside structures or lurking in close proximity than a loaded Shotgun.
- M87A1 – A reliable pump-action shotgun chambered with 3″ shells for improved stopping power.
- M1014 – This popular semi-automatic shotgun hits hard with 3″ shells, but is limited by its magazine tube capacity
- 18.5KS-K – A magazine-fed, semi-automatic shotgun firing 2.75″ shells for sizable damage
Sidearm

The Sidearm class is composed of Pistols of different shapes and types, as well as a powerful Revolver. Battlefield 6 has four sidearms so far, with two more coming post-launch:
- P18: A reliable Sidearm able to meet the demands of almost any combat scenario.
- M45A1: A classic sidearm brought into the 21st century. The damage it inflicts with .45 ACP is offset by a low base magazine capacity
- M44: A modern revolver and hand cannon. Best ranged potential of any sidearm, but its capacity and effective rate of fire are limited.
- ES 5.7: Companion to the USG-90, this sidearm has generous magazine capacity and exceptional bullet velocity compared to its peers.
All Battlefield 6 Throwables So Far
Throwables are handy pieces of equipment that serve a lethal or tactical function. From drawing enemies out of cover to supplying smoke for quick rotations, these essential items can come in clutch during tricky situations.
- Fragmentation Grenade: Equipped with an impact-triggered time fuse, this grenade is ideal for targeting enemies behind cover.
- Flash Grenade: This grenade emits an intense blast that temporarily blinds nearby enemies. Impairment scales with proximity and line of sight to the blast.
- Smoke Grenade: A grenade designed to deploy temporary smoke screens. Blocks the ability to spot targets and clears spotted markers from all infantry inside the smoke radius.
And that wraps up all the guns and equipment present in Battlefield 6. We’ll be sure to update this article as new weapons are added. In the meantime, be sure to check out all BF6 classes and their abilities to find the best fit for your playstyle.
