The Battlefield 6 PC requirements have officially been revealed, and thankfully, you won’t need a supercomputer to run the game at decent visual settings. The system requirements were announced after the stellar multiplayer gameplay reveal event, which provided fans with a look at the title’s launch maps, game modes, gunplay, and much more. EA also unveiled details surrounding the Open Beta, scheduled to kick off on August 7th. But before jumping into the latest entry of the franchise, it’s important to make sure that your system is up to the task. So, here are Battlefield 6’s system requirements.
Battlefield 6 Minimum System Requirements
- Processor: Intel Core i5-8400 / AMD Ryzen 5 2600
- Memory: 16 GB RAM (Dual Channel 2133MHz)
- Graphics: Nvidia RTX 2060 / AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT / Intel Arc A380
- Video Memory (VRAM): 6 GB
- Storage: 75 GB HDD (Estimated Disk Space at Launch)
- Operating System: Windows 10/11 64-bit
- Graphics Preset: 1080p Low Settings @ 30 FPS
Battlefield 6 Recommended System Requirements
- Processor: Intel Core i7-10700 / AMD Ryzen 7 3700X
- Memory: 16GB (Dual Channel 3200MHz)
- Graphics: Nvidia RTX 3060Ti / AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT / Intel Arc B580
- Video Memory (VRAM): 8 GB
- Storage: 75 GB SSD (Estimated Disk Space at Launch)
- Operating System: Windows 10/11 64-bit
- Graphics Preset: 1440p High Settings @ 60 FPS / 1080p Low Settings @ 80+ FPS
The PC requirements on both fronts are quite reasonable. According to EA, even a GPU as modest as the Nvidia RTX 2060 can run Battlefield 6, and with small resolution tweaks, there’s a solid chance it could deliver 60 FPS as well. The recommended specs aren’t intimidating either, starting at the RTX 3060 Ti, which was released nearly five years ago as a mid-tier GPU.
It’s important to note that these specifications are solely for the upcoming Open Beta. EA could revisit the PC requirements near the time of the release, although that is highly unlikely. So, what do you make of the game’s system requirements? Be sure to let us know in the comments.
