Urubamba Master Trainer is one of the new NPCs from the Collective of the Plenty Tribe. They can be found in Natlan’s Atcopan region in the Genshin Impact 5.5 update. Speaking with this NPC will reveal that he is looking for his saurians — little Tatankasaurs. Finding the saurians and returning them to Urubamba will unlock the Warrior’s Challenge. Other than that, the reward for completing this puzzle is also quite exciting. So here is a detailed guide with all the Urubamba saurian locations in Genshin Impact 5.5.
Urubamba Master Trainer can be found near the entrance of Atcopan, the region in Natlan, and north-east of the Collective of Plenty tribe. The camp will have a Teleport waypoint nearby, so follow it to find the location of Urubamba’s camp.
One thing to note here is that you don’t need to speak with Urubamba first to complete his puzzle. However, you must return to him after finding all the saurians to get your rewards in the Genshin Impact 5.5 update.
Urubamba Saurian Location 1
The first saurian can be found slightly south of Urubamba’s location. The little saurian can be found riding an automaton enemy, and it will start attacking you once you get near it. However, normal attacks won’t work against it.
Indwell into an Tatankasaur and charge at the automaton. Use the Elemental Skill button to smash the automaton and free the little saurians.
Urubamba Saurian Location 2
The next saurian can be found just east of the Urubamba’s camp. You will find a little Tatankasaur chasing a Tepetlisaur.
Get close to the Tepetlisaur and select the ‘Catch’ option to stop the chase. The little saurian will now head back to the camp.
Urubamba Saurian Location 3
The third saurian can be found further east from the second saurian location. Near the lake, you will find a saurian running around a Matador Monetoo.
Indwell into an Tatankasaur and charge at the Matador Monetoo. Keep hitting it until it becomes a graffiti on a nearby rock. Now, hit the graffiti again with the Tatankasaur to free the saurian.
Urubamba Saurian Location 4
The fourth Saurian can be found west of the camp. Here, you will find a saurian getting chased by a Hilichurl. Defeat the Hilichurl to free the Tatankasaur whelp.
Urubamba Saurian Location 5
If you head further west from the location of the fourth saurian, you will find a cave on the right in this part of the Natlan map in Genshin Impact 5.5. The entrance of this cave will have multiple hilichurls, who will be blocking the Tatankasaur whelp.
Defeat all the hilichurls at the cave entrance to free up the saurians. Now, they will head back to the camp.
Urubamba Saurian Location 6
Then, you need to enter the cave and continue until you find more hilichurls. These hilichurls have one of the Tatankasaur whelp as a prisoner.
Defeat all the hilichurls inside the cave to free the caged saurian. The saurian will then go back to Urubamba, and you can get your rewards by returning to the NPC.
Urubamba Saurian Location Puzzle Rewards
After returning all the Tatankasaur whelps, return to Urubamba and speak with the NPC. Pick the option “They are all back now”. Urubamba will thank you and reward you with the following chests:
- Exquisite Chest
- Precious Chest
- Normal Chest

Other than that, returning to Urubamba will now allow you to take on the Warrior’s Challenge. The challenge makes you run around like a Tatankasaur in a circuit, making you collect coins in a limited time. There are separate rewards for completing this challenge, so it’s another thing you can look forward to.
