OnePlus and Amazon are celebrating Prime Day with the launch of the OnePlus 6 Red variant.
OnePlus 6 buyers are eligible to get a flat discount of Rs. 2,000 on their purchase from Amazon if they pay with an HDFC Bank card. The offer seems to be only available on EMI transactions, but can be availed with either a credit card or a debit card. The offer is only valid once per card, and the maximum discount available on a single unit is Rs. 2,000. Buyers from OnePlus.in and offline stores will also get an immediate cashback of the same value when using and HDFC card.
The discount went live on July 4 on all variants of the OnePlus 6, and is now being extended to the newer models that are being launched in the market this week, including the OnePlus 6 Red, which comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage and, rocks a price-tag of Rs. 39,999 before the discount. The offer will also be applicable on the 8GB+256GB Midnight Black model that is scheduled to go on sale at tonight at 00:00 at Rs. 43,999 (without discount).
It’s worth noting that while the offer on the rest of the models is expiring on July 15, it will be available on the OnePlus 6 Red during the Amazon Prime Day sale which begins July 16. In case you’re eyeing the high-end 8GB RAM+256GB version, do note that you still only have until July 15 to claim your HDFC discount/cashback on that one, even though it’s only launching tonight.
As a refresher, the OnePlus 6 was launched in May at prices starting from Rs. 34,999 for the 6GB+64GB variant, while the 8GB RAM+128GB variant is priced at Rs. 39,999. While the standard 8GB+128GB model is priced at Rs. 43,999, the company also sold a limited edition Marvel Avengers’ Edition unit for Rs. 44,999.
