Xbox opened Gamescom 2025 with a strong showing during Opening Night Live, and its standalone showcase kept the momentum going. The event was packed with fresh trailers, new reveals, and updates straight from Cologne. From major exclusives to unexpected third-party highlights, Xbox had plenty to share. Call of Duty Black Ops 7 Vault Edition

Microsoft Flight Simulator

Microsoft Flight Simulator City Update 12 enhances seven German cities: Augsburg, Bremen, Dresden (with Leuben), Leipzig, Kiel, and Münster, across five states with stunning detail. The update is free for all Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 players.

Tropico 7

Tropico 7 is here! Woohoo. Anyone? Of course, I see you, the die-hard Prisendente fans. The trailer showcases a glimpse of the sequel to the iconic franchise. Well, it is just an announcement, so expect more news from Xbox later this year.

Cronos: The New Dawn

Yep. Another day, another Chronos trailer. While the Xbox trailer is the same as the one we saw at Gamescom 2025 ONL, we have a release date now. Chronos will arrive on September 5 on PC, Xbox Series X|S.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade on Xbox

Final Fantasy VII Remake series director Naoki Hamaguchi shared more details on the game’s arrival as part of Xbox Play Anywhere. Players can experience the reimagined classic on Xbox Series X|S, PC, or handheld with the ROG Ally devices. Final Fantasy 14 Remake Intergrade covers the story up to Midgar’s escape with stunning visuals, iconic characters, and a blend of real-time action and command-based combat. It also includes Episode Intermission, a side story featuring Yuffie Kisaragi.

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds – Competition Trailer

Go for gold in the Grand Prix, challenge racers online in World Match, compete for the best time in Time Trial, and change up the rules and teams in Race Park. Face down the competition in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds.

Project Bloomwalker

Netmarble and its studio Netmarble Neo have revealed Project Bloomwalker, a cozy crafting adventure headed to multiple platforms on console and PC, including Xbox Series. The game will also be available through Game Pass. A release date has yet to be confirmed.

Beastro

Step into Beastro, where not every hero carries a sword; some fight with a spoon. Put on your apron and dive into a heartwarming mix of cozy adventure and flavorful deckbuilding. Grow fresh ingredients, gather resources, and craft mouthwatering meals to serve the Caretakers who protect the village from the dangers beyond its walls. After all, saving the world is tough work on an empty stomach. Beastro launches on Xbox Series X|S and Game Pass in 2026.

Outbound

Outbound is an open-world exploration game set in a utopian near future. Start with an empty camper van and turn it into the home of your dreams – alone or together with your friends. Build and explore at your own pace. Scavenge materials, craft, and build in and on top of your vehicle with modular parts. Advance in technology and efficiently use energy to power your home. Adjust your playstyle to adapt to new landscapes and changing environmental conditions. Outbound arrives first half of 2026.

FINAL FANTASY TACTICS – The Ivalice Chronicles

Who is ready for the Final Fantasy announcement of the Xbox Gamescom 2025 showcase? Well, if you are, then put your strategy skills to the test as you command units across grid-based maps. Prince of Persia Rogue

Prince of Persia goes ‘Rogue’ today. Yes, the game is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. I thought I would write about how good the game looks and that we have a new release date. Well, go ahead and try the fun wall-jumping 2D sidescroller now.

ROG Xbox Ally

While this is not new news, we finally learned about the compatibility of the ROG Xbox Ally. The ROG Xbox Ally and Xbox Ally X let you take your gaming library anywhere, with smooth performance and support for both PC and console titles. Features like VRR, performance labels, and the ASUS Armoury Crate make it easy to optimize gameplay, battery life, and controls.
