Wuthering Waves version 1.1 is also set to release earlier than expected, bringing the latest updates quicker to the players. Wuthering Waves 1.1 Release Date
Wuthering Waves version 1.1 — “Thaw of Eons” — will be released on June 28, sometime after 06:00 AM (UTC+8). Version 1.0 will end at 05:59 AM, after which the game will undergo a maintenance break for the version 1.1 release. Check out our WuWa 1.1 release countdown.
Wuthering Waves 1.1 Banners: Character Banners
Wuthering Waves version 1.1 will release two new 5-star characters — Jinhsi and Changli. Both the characters play a big role in the story of Wuthering Waves, so expect them to have quite a punch.
Jinhsi Wuthering Waves: Lore, Speculated Element, & Weapon Type
Jinhsi is the magistrate of Jinzhou city. She was chosen by the Sentinel Jué directly to become the magistrate. The city of Jinzhou didn’t have a magistrate for many years until Jinhsi was chosen by Jué.
Jinhsi is a 5-star character and is speculated to feature in the first phase of version 1.1 banners. She is a Spectro character and Broadblade user.
Changli Wuthering Waves: Lore, Speculated Element, & Weapon Type
Changli is the counselor of the Jinzhou Magistrate or Jinhsi. She is also a mentor to Jinhsi and is described as a persuasive and patient person. She is a native of the Jinzhou city.
Changli is a 5-star character and is speculated to feature in the second phase of version 1.1 banners. Changli’s is a Fusion character and a Sword user.
Wuthering Waves 1.1 New Weapons
The WuWa version 1.1 will also feature two new weapons on the limited banners. Here are the two new weapons:
- Ages of Harvest: Broadblade
- Blazing Brilliance: Sword
Ages of Harvest is the signature weapon of Jhinsi and Blazing Brilliance is the signature weapon of Changli. Both the weapons are expected to be very strong.
Wuthering Waves 1.1: New Area and Boss
The latest developer update of Wuthering Waves has revealed that version 1.1 will include a new area — Mt. Firmament. This new area will also feature a new boss named Jué.
This hints that Mt. Firmament is the place where Sentinel Jué is imprisoned (assumedly) by the Fractsidus and players may be expected to fight, either a copy or corrupted version of, Sentinel Jué in version 1.1.

- Tactical Hologram Ski — Slide down through check points to reach the destination.
- Echo Challenge: Clang Bang — Use Clang Bangs to solve puzzles in the open world.
Wuthering Waves 1.1 Echoes
The version 1.1 of Wuthering Waves will also add 7 new echoes to the already massive roster of Echoes in the game. Here are all the new echoes being added to the version 1.1:
- Sentinel Jué: Summon Jué to attack the enemies, dealing Spectro damage. You can perform Resonance Skill to deal sustained Spectro damage to enemies over time.
- Lumiscale Construct: Transform into a Lumiscale Construct and enter a Parry Stance. When attacked, perform a Counterattack. If you parry a Special Skill attack, interrupt it and deal extra damage.
- Lightcrusher: Lunge forward as a Lightcrusher, dealing Spectro Damage. Hold the Echo Skill to lunge for a longer distance after gathering momentum in the Lightcrusher Form.
- Glacio Dreadmane: Transform into a Glacio Dreadmane to deal consecutive attacks. Can be cast in mid-air.
- Lava Larva: Summon a lava larva that continuously attacks enemies, dealing Fusion damage.
- Clang Bang: Summon a Clang Bang that follows the enemy and eventually self-combusts, dealing Glacio damage.
- Dwarf Cassowary: Summon a Dwarf Cassowary to attack, dealing Physical damage.
Wuthering Waves 1.1 Events

1. Tales from Mt. Firmament – Area Exploration Event
This is the new area exploration event for Mt. Firmament and it will unlock after completing specific Main Quests. The various related quests will give rewards in plenty. Here are all the rewards for this event:

Wuthering Waves 1.1 QoL Updates
The version 1.1 of WuWa is expected to introduce many QoL changes and updates. Here is a list of the QoL changes expected in version 1.1:
