When Is Pokemon Champions Coming Out On Mobile?

Fans have started planning their strongest teams and are gearing up, as Pokemon Champions is almost here. The game that is set to bring a change to the old turn-based battle is a few days away from its Nintendo Switch release. However, questions arise among players about the game’s release window on mobile. Let’s find out if there is a release date for Pokemon Champions on mobile devices.

When Will Pokemon Champions Launch on Mobile?

Pokemon Champions will officially launch on Mobile devices in June 2026. While there is no exact release date that has been announced as of yet, the launch window was revealed by the Pokemon Champions Korean website. The game releases for Nintendo Switch 1 and Nintendo Switch 2 on April 8, 2026.

With no exact release dates teased, we speculate that Pokemon Champions will release on mobile around the second week of June 2026, exactly two months after its release on Switch. This is based on the fact that the last free-to-play game, Pokemon Unite, was released for Switch on July 21, 2021. Later, the game was released for mobile devices after two months on September 22, 2021.

The mobile version of Pokemon Unite was more polished and had very few bugs compared to the Switch one. Pokemon Champions, being a free-to-play game, similar to Unite, is likely to follow the same release pattern, meaning that there are only a few months left before it releases on Android and iOS.

Can You Pre-Register and Download Pokemon Champions on Mobile?

As of now, mobile pre-registration for Pokemon Champions has not started yet. However, we expect that it will start somewhere around late May to mid June 2026. Once it starts, you can visit the official Pokemon Champions website and pre-register using your Gmail. You can even do the same on the Google Play Store for Android and the App Store for iOS.

After completing pre-registration, the game will be automatically installed on your device once it releases globally. Pokemon Champions will have a limited number of final evolutions, but we can expect more to be added when it releases on iOS and Android.

Will There Be Early Access for Pokemon Champions on Mobile?

Yes, early access for Pokemon Champions on mobile is expected to go live around June 2026, when the game releases. However, the early access might be limited only to content creators, similar to the Pokemon Champions early access for Nintendo Switch.

The content for the iOS and Android versions of Pokemon Champions will be mostly the same as that of Switch, and we might get the Starter Pack bundle that’s available for Switch players. Other than that, the Pokemon Champions Battle Pass, game mechanics, and animation are all expected to be the same.
