The Boys Season 4 showed us that Homelander will be going through with his plan to take over America. So, to make sure no one ever gets to ruin his image, he orders The Seven to kill everyone in the Vought Tower who would have dirt on him, and Ashley’s name was certainly at the top of that list. However, she did something to herself that leaves us wondering what happened to Ashley by the end of The Boys Season 4.
Ashley Took Compound V in The Boys Season 4
Ashley Barrett injected herself with Compound V in The Boys Season 4, when she saw the supes at Vought Tower hunting down everyone with dirt on Homelander. We saw that as soon as she injected herself, all her hair fell off, and something started happening to her skeletal structure, which looked to be extremely painful for her.
Ashley Probably Became a Supe In The Boys Season 4
Since we did not see her die in Episode 8, it’s safe to assume that she had become a supe. We only saw her transformation, so we do not know what her powers will be. However, I’m almost certain that Ashley is going to play a major role in The Boys Season 5. I speculate that Ashley, at some point, could team up with the now-superpowered Butcher and help him execute his plan to kill all supes.
Will Ashley Appear in The Boys Season 5?
Earlier, it was uncelar wether Ashley will return to the upcoming season or not. However, looking at the recently released teaser of The Boys Season 5, it’s safe to say that Ashley will be back in the final season. Even though we saw Ashley going through a transformation in season 4, she looks normal in the teaser, so it’s possible that she is hiding her powers.
As of now, it’s not possible to exactly figure out what is going on, so we will have to wait and see what comes our way as The Boys Season 5 releases on April 8, 2026.
