To enter these rooms, you must play in the party queue. While you can attempt it in a solo queue by peacetalking with randoms, I recommend avoiding that.
Once with a friend, go near a locked door that requires a key or a rod to unlock it. Now press Forward + Jump key against the wall and try to enter the room. While doing so, your friend must jump on top of you and press the forward button as well. After performing the ritual multiple times, you will go through the door and enter the room.
