After being mentioned in Natalie’s heated conversations, Francie finally makes her most-awaited debut in The Bear Season 4 during Tiffany’s wedding.

Why Does Natalie Berzatto Hate Francie Fak?
The Berzattos and the Faks have always remained close friends. However, it isn’t the same sweet case with Nat as she has always made her animosity towards Francie clear in The Bear. So, what did Francie Fak do to Sugar to make her disdainful? In season 2, Sugar lashed out that Francie can’t come to any of their family events because of the ‘thing’ that happened between them in the past.
Natalie always held a grudge against Francie, which implies that she must have done something so hurtful in her life. While we didn’t get any information about Francie in season 3, season 4 started to give away some clues. In episode 2, Natalie and her husband Pete have a heated exchange of words about Francie when he brings up that he met Francie at the gym.
Pete explained that Francie told him to say ‘hi’ to Natalie. It’s clear that Nat has a love-hate relationship with Francie as she tries to text Francie that she misses her at first, but Nat’s anger drives her to an extreme quickly.
When Francie Fak made it to Tiff’s wedding, Nat and Francie started yelling over one another in unison. During this moment, we hear a few things about the problem that caused a crack in their bond, but the creators still intend to keep it a mystery, as it was not properly discussed at the wedding.
Their problem involves a drunken Francie leaving Natalie alone, an event that happened during their college times, before phones were widely used. It is also revealed that Natalie and Francie had a romantic encounter in the past. They finally let go of their past conflict as they decide to forgive each other and rebuild their friendship in the series.
