After the massive cliffhanger in Severance Season 1 ending, people have been waiting for Severance Season 2 eagerly. As announced, Severance Season 2 is set to release on January 17, 2025. Now that we have confirmation of Severance Season 2 coming out, you would want to know about the cast members of this out-of-the-box sci-fi show. Here is the complete list of Severance Season 2 cast!
1. Adam Scott as Mark
After delivering an extraordinary performance as Mark in Severance Season 1, Adam Scott will be making a comeback in Severance Season 2. In the first season, we see Mark work at Lumon as a refiner who joined the company and decided to get severed to get rid of the grief he faced because of his wife’s death. Even though initially he was loyal to the company, soon, he started discovering secrets hidden in there and also learned something that shook the entire base of all his grief which will be further explored in Severance Season 2.
2. John Turturro as Irving
Another actor who has given an absolutely stellar performance on the show is John Turturro. He appears in the show as Irving, one of Mark’s coworkers at the Macro Data Refinement department. Initially, Irving was shown to us as an extremely loyal employee who even has the rulebook of Lumon memorized. However, following certain incidents, he realized that Lumon should not be trusted and started helping out Mark, Helly, and Dylan to use the Overtime Contingency Protocol so that they could let the people know what was going on at Lumon.
3. Zach Cherry as Dylan
Since the very beginning of the show, Dylan played by Zach Cherry has been one of the most rebellious people among all of Mark’s co-workers. When Milchick used the Overtime Contingency Protocol to talk to Dylan about the card he stole from the Optics and Design department, Dylan saw his kid and when he asked Milchick about his son’s name Milchick refused to answer. After that, Dylan decided to go against the company along with his friends.
Dylan was the one who stayed back and engaged the OCP but after holding his ground for a while, Milchick stopped him and now, we will have to wait till Severance Season 2 is out to know what happened to him.
4. Britt Lower as Helly
After Petey left Lumon, he was replaced with Helly. Since the day she joined Lumon she knew something was wrong and wanted to leave but was not allowed to. She tried multiple tricks to let her outie know she wanted to quit but she was never able to send a message through. As a last resort, she even tried to commit self-harm but it still didn’t work.
In the final episode, when Dylan activated the innies using the OCP, she got to know that she was the daughter of the current CEO of Lumon and was a descendant of Kier. She got to know that her outie decided to join Lumon so that Lumon could spread the propaganda that Severance is not wrong.
5. Patricia Arquette as Harmony
Patricia Arquette appears as Harmony, one of the non-Severed employees on the severed floor of Lumon. She is Mark’s boss and not only at work but also keeps an eye on him as his neighbor, Mrs. Selvig. However, after Hely tried to kill herself and the news reached the board, she was fired with immediate effect. Even after that, she ran into Mark when his innie was active at the get-together held by Mark’s sister. She realized that Mark was not the outie version of him and rushed to Lumon to stop the OCP. However, what happened after it, is still to be seen in Severance Season 2.
6. Tramell Tillmana as Milchick
Milchick is another character who seems to be nice but is questionably one of the most morally grey characters in Severance. Played by Tramell Tillmana, Milchick is the supervisor of the severed floor who often does a job pretty similar to being the HR. However, he follows whatever his seniors tell him blindly without asking any questions. He is the one who stopped Dylan from using the OCP in the final episode. So, let’s wait and see what next step he takes in Severance Season 2.
7. Christopher Walken as Burt
Christopher Walken appears as Burt in the cast of Severance. He is the head of the Optics and Design department of Lumon and develops an unlikely connection with Irving from Macro Data Refinement. However, as they start growing closer, Burt retires from Lumon, and Irving is deeply shaken by his leaving. This drives him to go against Lumon, which we see in the final episode of Severance. Even though Burt has left Lumon, it is confirmed that Burt will return for Severance Season 2 but the extent of his character is unknown.
8. Dichen Lachmann as Ms. Casey
Dichen Lachmann appears in Severance as Ms. Casey, the wellness counselor at Lumon. However, as it turns out, she is later on revealed to be Mark’s wife Gemma who he thinks to be dead. Her character is not explored much in the series but what we do know is that she was fired before the season came to an end and was sent to the testing floor below the severed floor. It seems that she will have a much greater role in Season 2 so let’s wait and see what happens next.
9. Michael Chernus as Ricken
Ricken appears in the show as Mark’s brother-in-law and is also the guy who wrote the book Mark’s innie got his hands on which motivated him to rebel against Lumon. Played by Michael Chernus, Ricken plays a rather minor role in the series but it seems as if his character is going to be of more importance as the show proceeds in its next season.
10. Jen Tullock as Devon
The only family member of Mark in the show is Devon, his sister. Played by Jen Tullock, Devon is also a minor character in Severance Season 1 but since Mark’s innie told her about everything that is going on at Lumon, she might end up playing a rather major role in Severance Season 2. Another thing pointing towards her playing a major role is that Devon is the one Mark told that Gemma is alive as the show ends. So, let’s wait and see what Severance Season 2 has in store for us.
Along with these returning characters, some new cast members will also be a part of Severance Season 2. Gwendoline Christie, Alia Shawkat, Bob Balaban, Merrit Wever, Robby Benson, John Noble, and Ólafur Darri Ólafsson will appear in Severance season 2 but their roles are unknown so far.
