After a lot of teasers and rumors, Xiaomi’s next flagship killer, the Redmi K20 Pro along with the Redmi K20, is all set to arrive in India. Xiaomi has started sending out invites for the event, which confirm that the Redmi K20 and K20 Pro will be officially launched in India on July 17.
Both the Redmi K20 smartphones were launched in China in May with much fanfare and ever since, there’s a been a lot of hype around these smartphones and rightly so, just look at the specs on these phones:
So, the Redmi K20 Pro is the flagship phone of the two and it comes with some insane specs. It has a 6.39″ 1080p Super AMOLED display with an in-display fingerprint scanner, a bezel-less design thanks to the 32MP pop-up selfie camera, a triple camera setup on the back featuring a 48MP primary camera, a 13MP ultra wide angle lens and an 8MP telephoto lens. Plus, it comes with the flagship Snapdragon 855 processor with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, a 4,000 mAh battery with 27W QuickCharge 4.0 support. All of that at a starting price of 2,599 yuan (around Rs. 26,000).
The Redmi K20 on the other hand comes with the new Snapdragon 730 processor but apart from that, it has the same AMOLED display, the same triple cameras, and the same design. The Redmi K20 starts at 2,599 yuan (around Rs. 20,000).
