The Pokemon GO continues its Ultra Unlock events by introducing Strength of Steel. Like its earlier Ultra Unlock event, Strength of Steel will bring forth some great rewards for players, some of which will help you improve your chances of catching some amazing Pokemon. So, if you want to take part in the Strength of Steel event in Pokemon GO, here’s everything you can expect.

Pokemon GO Ultra Unlock: Strength of Steel – Start Time and Event Bonuses

The Pokemon GO Ultra Unlock Strength of Steel is the second part of last week’s ongoing Ultra Unlock: Better Together event. The second part begins on July 25, 2024, at 10:00 AM local time and lasts till July 30, 2024 8:00 PM. Like the previous Ultra Unlock event, this Pokemon GO Ultra Unlock event also has great rewards. Here are what you can expect:

  • Any trainers ranked level 31 and over will win additional Candy XL for successfully catching Pokemon.
  • Any trainer ranked level 31 and above will get an increased chance of receiving Candy XL for successfully catching Pokemon with a nice throw and better.
  • Receive additional candy for nice throws or better.
  • 3x Stardust for catching a Pokemon.

So, if you want to level up your favorite Pokemon this is the perfect event to participate in.

Like Better Together, Strength of Steel will feature some Pokemon based on the event itself. So, here are the necessary details on what to expect from the upcoming event.

As of the writing of this article, Pokemon GO hasn’t announced any Pokemon featured for the upcoming event. Unlike Better Together, which featured Tandemaus and Maushold, you won’t get to catch a unique Pokemon. We will promptly update this section if new details come out.

Wild Encounters

Unlike the debut and featured Pokemon, Strength of Steel will feature some wild encounters. And yes, you also get to encounter the shiny variant of these Pokemon. Here are the confirmed ones:

  • Alolan Sandshrew
  • Magnemite
  • Pineco
  • Nosepass
  • Aron
  • Beldum
  • Bronzor
  • Ferroseed
  • Galarian Stunfisk
  • Togedemaru

Outside of the monsters mentioned above, you also get an opportunity to capture the following Pokemon and their shiny variant in the wild. However, their spawn chances are still low but not extremely rare for a while. They are:

  • Onix
  • Scyther
  • Skarmory
  • Klink

So, if you had them on your checklist, now is the perfect time to play Pokemon GO and enjoy the Strength of Steel event!

Raid Pokemon Features

Just like the last event, there will also be various unique Pokemon appearing in Pokemon GO Raids. You can also encounter a shiny variant of each of these Pokemon. These are:

1-Star Raids

  • Skarmory
  • Klink
  • Pawniard
  • Togedemaru

3-Star Raids

  • Steelix
  • Scizor
  • Mawile
  • Aggron

So, if you enjoy playing the raids in-game, this is the perfect time to focus your efforts and get yourself some new Pokemon!

Pokemon GO Ultra Unlock: Strength of Steel – Field and Timed Research

There will also be some usual field and timed research like the previous Ultra Unlock event, and like the last time, you can get some great Pokemon encounters.

If you complete the Timed Research, you will win rewards like a Magnetic Lure Module, XP points, and encounters with event-themed Pokemon. If you do field research tasks, you will get Pokemon encounters with the following Pokemon, who can also be shiny. These are:

  • Beldum
  • Klink
  • Togedemaru

You can also win some Mega energy for the following Pokemon:

  • Steelix
  • Scizor
  • Aggron
