- Niantic has officially shared the Pokemon GO July roadmap, which includes unique research, raid battles, spotlight hours, etc.
- For July, participate in the Community Day, the three-part Ultra Unlock event, and a worldwide GO Fest event.
- July 2024 also introduces some brand-new Pokemon and their Shiny variants.
As we bid farewell to the Pokemon GO June roadmap, the month of July has come knocking in. Niantic has finally revealed the Pokemon GO July 2024 roadmap! As always players can look forward to a month of exciting events and community days! So without further ado, let’s break down the Pokemon GO July 2024 roadmap right here!
All Pokemon GO Events in July 2024
1. 8th Anniversary Party (June 28 – July 3)
Timings: 10 AM – 8 PM local time
With Pokemon GO turning eight years old in June, Niantic plans to celebrate that in style. Players can participate in timed events and timed research, get a chance to capture unique Pokemon and earn rewards while doing so. You can also buy some unique swag for your character. So get ready to begin Pokemon GO’s 8th anniversary party starting today!
2. Aquatic Paradise (July 6 – July 9)
Timings: 10 AM – 8 PM local time
In Aquatic Paradise, players could buy a paid timed research and win specific water-based Pokemon in-game. Additionally, there was also a featured research task, which further provided players with the opportunity to win free rewards.
3. Inbound from Ultra Space (July 8 – July 13)
Timings: 10 AM – 10 AM local time
Inbound from Ultra Space is a full-fledged event happening during the July 2024 roadmap of Pokemon GO. Players can participate in 5-star raids featuring various Ultra Beasts during this event. This includes Guzzlord, Nihilego, and more. Stay tuned for our spotlight hour guide soon.
4. Pokemon GO Fest 2024: Global (July 13 – July 14)
Timings: 10 AM – 6 PM local time (each day)
As you can tell, the Pokemon GO Global Fest is all set to garner a huge fanbase. Players with a ticket will be able to capture a variety of Pokemon like Dusk Mane, Dawn Wings Necrozma, Kartana, and Guzzlord, among many others. There are also many shiny Pokemon making their debut!
5. Ultra Unlock Part 1: Better Together (July 17 – July 22)
Timings: 10 AM – 8 PM local time
The Ultra Unlock: Better Together event brought Tandemaus and Maushold and their shiny forms to the game for the first time. The event also provided players with cool bonuses like 4x XP for catching Pokemon, 2x Catch Candy per Pokemon catch, timed events, and featured research.
6. July Community Day: Tynamo (July 21)
Timings: 2 PM – 5 PM local time
The July Community Day will take place on July 21, allowing us to participate and earn rewards. Like every Pokemon GO Community Day, the event featured the water-type Tynamo. Players could also get themselves a $1 event ticket, and win rewards!
7. Ultra Unlock Part 2: Strength of Steel (July 25 – July 30)
Timings: 10 AM – 8 PM local time
As we expected, the Pokemon GO Strength of Steel event brought about a worldful of new encounters. This also included some amazing Pokemon GO Raids which trainers loved.
8. Ultra Unlock Part 3: Mega Raid Day (July 27)
Timings: 11 AM – 5 PM
The final part of the Ultra Unlock event ends with a part 3 Mega Raid boss fight. You only have one day to finish it, from July 27, 11 AM – 5 PM.
9. Pokemon GO July 2024: Spotlight Hours
Like in June 2024, you can expect some Pokemon to join during the Spotlight Hour. Like every month, you can catch the following Pokemon:
- July 2: Pikachu wearing a cake hat
- July 9: Spheal
- July 16: Binacle
- July 23: Diglett
- July 23: Alolan Diglett
- July 30: Togedemaru
Excluding Togedemaru, every Pokemon mentioned will have their Shiny version joining the spotlight hour. You can catch these Pokemon on their dates from 6 PM to 7 PM local time. Don’t worry, Spotlight Hour guide coming soon!
10. Pokemon GO July 2024 Raid Hours
Pokemon GO will also feature a lot of Pokemon during the July 2024 raid hours. Here are every Pokemon appearing during the event:
- July 3: Ho-Oh
- July 8: Guzzlord
- July 9: Nihilego
- July 10: Celesteela appears in the Southern Hemisphere
- July 10: Kartana appears in the Northern Hemisphere
- July 11: Stakataka appears in the Eastern Hemisphere
- July 11: Blacephalon appears in the Western Hemisphere
- July 12: Buzzwole appearing in the Americas and Greenland. Shiny Debuts.
- July 12: Pheromosa appearing in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India. Shiny debut.
- July 12: Xurkitree appearing in Asia-Pacific
- July 17: Articuno
- July 24 and July 31: Tornadus (Incarnate Forme)
Outside of Stakataka and Blacephalon, every Pokemon appearing during the raid hour will have their Shiny Pokemon appearing in the event.
