Mega Evolution is a key part of battles in Pokemon Champions. With your Pokemon, Mega Evolving, you can get an advantage over your opponents. Each Mega Pokemon comes with their own unique abilities that can change the course of a match if properly utilised. In this guide, we have listed all the Pokemon Champions Mega Evolutions abilities, and what they do.

All Mega Evolution Abilities in Pokemon Champions

Mega Evolution Abilities in Pokemon Champions are special conditions that each Mega Evolved Pokemon possesses in battle. These conditions are activated when the Pokemon enters a battle, gets hit by an enemy. Mega Evolution Abilities are more powerful than some abilities of a normal Pokemon, making them far stronger in battles.

There are 50+ Mega Evolutions that were revealed when Pokemon Champions released on April 8, 2026. Some new Mega Evolutions from Legends ZA have returned in this game, with new, distinct abilities. Below, we have listed all the Pokemon Champions Mega Evolution abilities, and their descriptions:

How to Mega Evolve in Pokemon Champions

Players can Mega Evolve their Pokemon during battles in Champions. This can be done once they have completed the game’s Mega Evolution Tutorial and obtained an Omni Ring. They also need to have the Pokemon in the game and their respective Mega Stone, to evolve and use the Mega Evolution Abilities in Pokemon Champions.

If you don’t have the Pokemon that you want to Mega Evolve, then don’t fret; you can always recruit them or transfer them by linking Pokemon Champions to Pokemon HOME. After getting them, you must train to optimise their stats and also acquire a Mega Stone.

Some Mega Stones can be obtained by completing tutorials, and most of the others can be purchased from the in-game shop using Victory Points. Some of the Mega Stones can also be obtained by leveling up in the Premium Battle Pass. After meeting the requirements, you can Mega Evolve your Pokemon by hitting the R button during the battle.
