Just a day after the global launch, OnePlus hosted the OnePlus 6T launch event in New Delhi, bringing the new device to the Indian market. If you’ve been following our coverage of the device, you’d probably be aware that the new device isn’t a whole lot different from the OnePlus 6 which was launched earlier this year.
Priced starting at Rs. 37,999, the new OnePlus 6T will be made available in two color variants – Mirror Black and Midnight Black – with the 6GB/128GB base variant limited to the Mirror Black finish, while the 8GB/128GB (Rs 41,999) and 8GB/256GB (Rs 45,999) variants will be available in both finishes. The phone will be available on Amazon and OnePlus.in from November 1, and on Open Sale from November 3 at online and offline retailers.
As we saw yesterday, the OnePlus 6T features an in-display fingerprint scanner, along with a larger display with a waterdrop style notch, a larger 3,700mAh battery, an in-display fingerprint scanner and no headphone jack. The OnePlus 6T will go on sale starting from November 2, with OnePlus hosting pop-up experience zones in 13 locations across 9 cities in the country, where buyers will be able to experience the device before making a purchase. The device will exclusively be made available on Amazon for buyers who wish to order it online and those of you who still prefer to make your smartphone purchases offline, OnePlus has recently partnered up with Reliance Digital to make the OnePlus 6T available offline.
The new OnePlus 6T is already available for pre-booking on Amazon and users who pre-book the device will receive a Type-C Bullets earphone for free with their purchase, along with Amazon Pay credit of Rs. 500. Launch offers for the OnePlus 6T include the ‘Jio – OnePlus 6T Unlock the Speed Offer’ will provide a net cashback of Rs. 5,400 in the form of discount vouchers.
