Chopper can transform into any one of his forms as he wishes, depending upon the combat situation. However, he often remains in his hybrid form, often getting mistaken for a raccoon dog by others. With his medical knowledge, Chopper successfully designed a special drug to unlock the true powers of his Devil Fruit. That is why Chopper is a unique Zoan Devil Fruit user in the One Piece series. Here are all the forms Chopper can switch to with and without eating the Rumble Ball he developed:

  • Arm Point: Boosts the arms’ muscle strength and is useful in close-quarters combat.
  • Guard Point: Transforms into a giant fluff ball and is super handy in defense.
  • Horn Point: Focuses on enlarging his antlers to strike and launch opponents in the air.
  • Jumping Point: Improves leg strength to prioritize jumping and mobility, useful in escape situations.
  • Kung Fu Point: Combines arm and jumping point forms to unlock a new form where he can freely perform martial arts, as the name suggests.
  • Monster Point: Transforms into a gigantic monster, where he loses control at first. Lately, he can stay composed in this monstrous form and doesn’t need to consume three Rumble Balls to enter this form.

Chopper was struggling with the Rumble Ball-added transformations at first, as it posed a significant health risk, short usage time, and prolonged cooldown. Following the two-year time skip, Chopper began to master his forms and enhanced the Rumble Ball with the help of another scientist, Caesar Clown, whom you will meet in the future. Now, he can access all his forms almost without worrying about their consequences.
