The Giants Learn the Shocking Truth About Loki
The latest One Piece chapter begins with the author recapping how the war broke out all of a sudden in Elbaf. Now, both Dorry and Brogy (who were Domi Reversi’d by Imu) are on a hunt to kill Elder Jarul and take over the giants’ nation for Imu. Although Elder Jarul’s life is in danger, he doesn’t fall back, but steps up to reveal the truth about the Elbaf nation involving King Harald and Prince Loki to the giants in the crucial moment.
In his final moments, Harald wished to let his people learn the truth about how his attempt to unite with the rest of the world by allying with the World Government misfired. However, Loki refused his wish as he didn’t want to ruin everything his father had done for his country. Thus, the prince took all the blame and anger to let the Elbaf nation remain peaceful. Even Elder Jarul agreed to Loki’s decision, as he didn’t want the giants to go ahead and exact revenge against their World Government for their King’s death.
Now, there is no point in hiding the truth about King Harald anymore, as the World Government is here to enslave all the giants and enlist them to turn their army into the strongest one in the world. Thus, Elder Jarul finally opens up about the day of King Harald’s death and reveals that a demon has been behind his downfall all this time. Then, the elder finally proves Loki’s innocence in this matter, confirming that people were led to believe that their prince was the kingslayer because of a necessary lie.
Elder Jarul Unites the Giants and Declares War Against the World Government
The giants of Elbaf are so done playing according to these demons’ wishes. Ever since the Holy Knights and then Imu stepped foot into Elbaf, the giants’ nation has been in turmoil. Therefore, Elder Jarul confirms that Elbaf will not bend the knee as Imu desires, and that they don’t have the patience their King had earlier with the World Government.
The giants greatly believe in the Harley Prophecies, and we all know that a great war (the final war of One Piece) is coming. No other kingdom has resisted the World Government’s action and risen against it in the current timeline. Now, Elder Jarul declares that all of Elbaf refuses to bow and will confront the World Government head-on, starting now as the final war approaches in One Piece.
After all, Elder Jarul is mentioned to be the strongest giant of his era before King Harald and Loki in One Piece chapter 1172. Currently, Elder Jarul’s fierce speech has ignited the hearts of the giants as they switch to their warrior mode. To protect the peace that their king worked all his life to achieve, Elbaf becomes the first nation to take a firm stand against the World Government.
This battle will inevitably trigger the final war of One Piece, and more nations, such as Dressrosa, Arabasta, etc., will join Elbaf in the battle against the World Government. This was a perfect chapter to kick off the fight against the WG, and we will see more of Luffy and Loki in action in the upcoming chapters.
