In the world of One Piece, the former pirate king Gol D. Roger left behind a legendary treasure. One Piece chronicles the story of Luffy, who forms a pirate crew in an effort to acquire the fabled “One Piece” treasure and become the next pirate king.

The story begins in a world of pirates and evolves into something more unpredictable as the Straw Hat Pirates sail the seas. One Piece’s tale is divided into major sagas, which are further split into arcs based on the islands Luffy and his crew visit. When the crew departs for a brand-new location, the current arc ends and the next arc begins.
Currently, the One Piece series has 11 sagas featuring over 34 arcs, totaling 1100+ manga chapters and anime episodes. How to Watch One Piece in Chronological Order

The first half of One Piece (pre-time skip) is titled Sea of Survival: Super Rookies Saga. It’s divided into six sub-sagas, spanning 597 manga chapters and 516 anime episodes. They are as follows:
East Blue Saga
The first One Piece saga is called the East Blue Saga, as the East Blue Sea is the place where most of the story takes place in the beginning. The saga kicks off Luffy’s pirate journey and revolves around him forming a crew. The first saga includes the following arcs:
Romance Dawn Arc (Canon)
The Romance Dawn arc is the beginning of everything! After being inspired by Shanks, Monkey D. Luffy, who accidentally becomes a Gomu Gomu no Mi Devil Fruit user, sets sail to build a pirate crew and find the One Piece treasure. On his first adventure, Luffy befriends Koby, an aspiring Marine, and then persuades Zoro to join his newfound pirate crew.

Final Saga
The latest and eleventh saga of One Piece is the final saga. Oda has finally kicked off the final saga in the story. It is well underway now, and we sailed to the Elbaf arc very recently. The Elbaf arc is expected to reach its end in the One Piece manga in 2026. On the other hand, the Straw Hat Pirates’ adventures in the giants’ homeland are just beginning in the One Piece anime.

After the Wano Country arc, One Piece includes the Egghead arc, which takes place on the futuristic island where Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates meet Dr. Vegapunk and his satellites.
