The Rocks Pirates Get Captivated by Shakky in One Piece
Loki’s flashback is taking unexpected turns in the past couple of chapters, as we get to see the Kuja Pirates in their prime. To everyone’s surprise, Oda unveiled Shakuyaku, aka Shakky to be the most popular figure of this era, akin to an idol. In the previous chapter 1156, even Roger, Gaban, and his crew (except Rayleigh) were smitten over Shakky to the point they wanted to capture her for their crew.
Moving forward to the latest chapter 1157, Shakky retired as a pirate and moved to Hachinosu Island to live under the protection of the pirates who would do anything for her. We expected Rocks, the cruel devil of the seas, to do something about Shakky’s uninvited arrival. However, it was the complete opposite as Rocks entered Sanji-mode and was seen swooning over her as soon as she appeared.
Even his crew was no different, as Whitebeard, Captain John, Shiki, Silver Axe, and Don Marlon were love-struck by Shakky’s beauty following their captain’s footsteps. Fans who were lambasting Sanji’s actions in the story were completely taken aback by seeing their favorite legends, such as Roger, Rocks, Whitebeard, etc, helplessly losing themselves to the irresistible charm of Shakky.
Not everyone is Monkey D. Luffy, as our rubbery hero was immune to the allure of the current pirate empress, Boa Hancock. Nevertheless, it’s hilarious watching all our greatest icons bewitched by a single woman in the story. Fans were busy criticizing Sanji, only to see their favorite heroes getting the same Sanji treatment, and it’s certainly not a twist we anticipated to happen, even in our wildest dreams.
Based on the latest details from One Piece chapter 1157, it was Shakky, the crown jewel of Hachinosu, whose kidnapping triggered the God Valley incident. So, yes, Roger Pirates and Rocks Pirates sailed to the God Valley to rescue Shakky, but it ended with Rocks’ defeat.
