Naobita Zenin is the 26th head of the Zenin clan and his character design is primarily inspired by Spanish artist Salvador Dalí. As the leader of a powerful clan, Naobito also achieved the Special Grade 1 rank of a Jujutsu Sorcerer. He is also the father of Naoya Zenin, a character we will meet in the next arc in the Jujutsu Kaisen anime.

He is a man who is always seen wearing traditional Japanese clothing during his missions. It is also mentioned in the Jujutsu Kaisen manga that he has a hobby of watching anime and his cursed technique is technically based on it as well. Naobito held his clan high in his heart and that resulted in the Gojo clan becoming the major cause of stress for him.

Naobito Zenin’s cursed technique is called “Projection Sorcery,” which is strongly inspired by video media and cameras, according to the Jujutsu Kaisen Fanbook. Additionally, it is mentioned that it is an inherited technique of the Zenin clan. We have broken down his cursed technique for your better understanding below:

  • Naobito can split a second into 24 frames and then utilize each frame to draft and execute a pre-planned move set within that second.
  • Any object that comes into contact with Naobit’s palm during this technique must follow the 24 frames per second rule.
  • If not, it will be momentarily frozen inside the given frame and give Naobito a massive opening to deal with a powerful strike.

By perfectly making use of his colossal strength and unreal agility, the Projection Sorcery technique was further amplified by the head of Zenin.

Fun Fact: Alongside Gojo Satoru, Naobito Zenin has been recognized as the fastest Jujutsu Sorcerer of this era, thanks to his excellent proficiency in his cursed technique.
