Does Hero Killer: Stain Come Back?

Earlier in the MHA series, Deku, Shoto, and Ida defeated Stain when he was on the loose. While he was imprisoned in the Tartarus prison, he eventually broke out when All For One launched an attack on the prison with his Nomus. Fans have always wondered what role he has left to play in the story, and everyone was surprised when he was the one who helped All Might remember the true hero he is.
On top of it, Stain also gave away the crucial intel about the villains who escaped from Tartarus to All Might in the Dark Hero arc. He may have been a hero killer, but in desperate times, Stain stood up and helped the heroes in order to win the final war against the villains.
Following this incident, Stain also came in clutch once again when All Might’s life was in danger after the hero was cornered by All For One. Luckily, Stain traced All For One using his spilled blood and joined the battle between Armored All Might and a young All For One.
Who Killed the Hero Killer: Stain?
Moments after entering the battle arena, Stain utilized his “Bloodcurdle” quirk to immobilize All For One. For once, All For One was in such a vulnerable position, but that didn’t last long, as AFO had prepared a contingency plan especially for Stain’s interference. As Stain didn’t join the villains after escaping from the Tartarus prison, AFO predicted he would side with the heroes and eventually fight against AFO.
Therefore, AFO activated a multitude of his quirks to escape from Stain’s grasp. First, he used the Forced Quirk Activation to forcefully activate his quirks, albeit in a paralyzed state. Then he activated Bloodlet to drain all of his blood out of his body. Following these moves, AFO utilized the Antigen Swap quirk to rewrite his blood type as he wished.
The usage of all three quirks at once rendered Stain’s bloodcurdle quirk useless, and AFO swiftly escaped from the immobilized state. Then he quickly hurls Stain through the ruins of buildings and leaves him severely injured.
AFO knew he couldn’t waste any time against Stain. So as Stain spoke out his admiration for All Might, AFO punches him to death and immediately steals Stain’s ‘Bloodcurdle’ for his personal use.
I never benefitted from higher education. It was you who taught me what a hero is. Live on, triumph, my everything, my All…!
Hence, Hero Killer: Stain gets killed by All For One in front of his favorite hero. In the end, Stain stayed true to his conviction and morals, helped the greatest hero in his eyes, albeit it didn’t end in the best possible way for him.
