After a rocky development cycle and delays that felt like signs of production hell, Marathon will finally be available for players through its upcoming open beta. The Marathon open beta is set to give players a taste of what Bungie’s new extraction shooter will have to offer once it fully releases.
As is the case with most open beta tests, Bungie has announced that players who participate in the Marathon open beta will receive free unique rewards that they can flex when the new extraction shooter fully releases. How to Get Marathon Open Beta Rewards
To get all the Marathon open beta rewards, players need to take part in the Marathon Server Slam and complete missions as well as level up. The Marathon open beta is scheduled to run from February 26, 2026, to March 2, 2026. Unlike the previous closed tests for the game, the Marathon Server Slam is an open invitation that essentially tests the servers before Marathon’s official release on March 5, 2026.
