It may be hard to believe, but we are in the final arc of Jujutsu Kaisen: Modulo, as Yuka vs. Dabura and Tsurugi vs. Maru are confirmed to be the final battles of the series. Yuka summoned Mahoraga out of the blue, and the shinigami is currently giving a tough time to Dabura. On the other hand, Tsurugi is pitted against his new friend, Maru, as they fight for their kind. We have seen Maru’s third eye in action before, but we never saw the cursed technique that he shares with his brother until now in Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Chapter 16.

Cross and Maru’s Cursed Technique: Chaos and Order
Tsurugi and Maru began to clash with their swords, but the former got the edge due to his Heavenly Restriction. As Tsurugi was getting ready to widen the lead by pulling off a Simple Domain Expansion, Maru stopped holding back in the battle. Then, Maru declared that he was ready to fight to the death against Tsurugi and unveiled his cursed technique: Chaos and Order for the first time in the JJK Modulo series.
Maru’s cursed technique seems to rewrite the order of reality around him as he flipped the world sideways, causing Tsurugi to fall and lose his ground. The complete abilities of Maru’s cursed technique remain unclear at the moment. However, based on his previous fight with the old man, fans highly expect Maru’s cursed technique to be related to gravity.
Earlier, it was mentioned that Maru and Cross used their cursed technique and incorporated it with the Mul stones to power their spaceship. This allowed them to travel from Simuria to Earth, and it has to do with the gravitational powers. Maru may have used the order abilities in this chapter, and the chaos is yet to come.
