Spoiler Warning:
This post includes spoilers for Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 267. Proceed with caution.
Jujutsu Kaisen has given us several shocking twists in the past few months. We saw Gojo return (in a way) to the battlefield after Yuta took over his body using Kenjauk’s technique. Gege Akutami also revealed Yuji’s Domain Expansion for the very first time in the series. However, it seems like the author doesn’t want to stop there, as recently, Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 267 spoilers have confirmed that our beloved Nobara is back from the dead.
Does Nobara Come Back in Jujutsu Kaisen?
Nobara was one of the main characters in the first few arcs of the series. She fought several powerful curses alongside Yuji and Megumi. However, in the Shibuya arc, Mahito tricks Nobara and uses his Idle Transfiguration on the girl’s face. At that time, it was normal for fans to believe that Nobara had died.
Any hope of her return was shattered by the fact that she wasn’t even mentioned in the following chapters. Right when we started believing that Nobara wouldn’t return, Gege Akutami surprised us one more time.
In Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 267, Yuji is going against Sukuna, and much to everyone’s surprise, the boy is holding well against the King of Curses. However, everyone who isn’t fighting comes up with a strategy to help Yuji. We won’t reveal the strategy as it will spoil the chapter for you, but you would be thrilled to know that Utahime mentions that only “SHE” can pull off this technique. Guess what? And the she that Utahime is referring to is Nobara. Nobara is back — flexing a single eye like a pirate.
Nobara’s return is obviously shocking for the fandom, but it is more shocking for Yuji. Yuji, while fighting Sukuna, tears up after seeing that his friend is alive, who, as expected, addresses him as an “Idiot.” What’s amazing is that even Sukuna gets scared after sensing Nobara’s return. That’s because Nobara’s technique prevents the King of the Curses from using his domain.
Yuji doesn’t let go of the opportunity and punches Sukuna with all his strength. Honestly, it looks like Sukuna’s end is finally near, and that makes sense since Jujutsu Kaisen will end after giving us only five more chapters.
