After witnessing Heath Ledger’s performance as The Joker in the Dark Knight series, I am among those people who thought that no one else would ever be able to top his depiction of the Joker. However, my perception changed after witnessing Joaquin Phoenix’s adaptation of The Joker in Joker which was released back in 2019. Now, after 5 years, Joker 2 is set to release. Joker 2 Is Set to Release on October 2024
The much anticipated Joker 2 will release in theaters on October 4, 2024. This movie will feature Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn which will make her the second actor to take on the role, the first being Margot Robbie. The release of this movie will be the second big project to come out in 2024, the first one being Deadpool and Wolverine set to release on July 26, 2024. So, 2024 is going to have a Marvel and DC showdown and all that’s left to see is, which one will stand victorious
Is There a Trailer for Joker 2?
A teaser for Joker 2 was released some time back that featured the first look of Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn. The trailer had a lot of music reinforcing the rumors going around talking about Joker 2 being a soft-musical. However, it seems that the creators have twisted the origin of Harley Quinn since in the comic-accurate storyline Harley Quinn was a psychiatrist who fell in love with the Joker.
However, in the trailer, it seems that Harley is already an inmate in Arkham Asylum so maybe they have twisted her origin. Whatever the case may be, we will find out about it when the movie releases, and till then, stay tuned with us for further updates.
