Instagram Stories is possibly the most common way of sharing your daily life and likings with the world. We get a number of inspired options including boomerang, focus, rewind, and more to record and share the Stories. There’s filters and stickers in the mix too. But, Instagram Stories is getting a new stop-motion camera mode really soon and we can’t be more excited.
As revealed by well-known app researcher and unreleased feature tipster Jane Manchun Wong on Twitter, Instagram is working on this crazy stop-motion camera mode that will help up your Stories game. You’ll be able to click multiple pictures and Instagram is going to stitch them together to give you a slick stop-motion video.
Wong has shared a screen recording of how the feature would look like. You can see this feature in action right here:
You can see in the video attached above that Instagram will allow you to click multiple pictures in one go – with minor changes that you can keep a check on via ghosting the older photos. Earlier you’d need to make a stop-motion video on a third-party app or on your PC before sharing it with your followers. However, the stop-motion camera mode in Stories will make it simpler to post a ton of creative and intriguing stories.
This camera mode will provide the users with a new thing to experiment while recording Instagram Stories. There’s currently no timeline for when the feature will go live, but we hope it reaches everyone really soon as it would be really fun. I can already imagine us using this feature to show the best feature of an upcoming smartphone to you in a new fashion.
