If you’ve been following Crunchyroll for a while, you might be aware that they used to offer free streaming of several popular anime such as the Naruto series (see Naruto filler list here). After a while, the option vanished, but Crunchyroll seems to have resurrected it, which will be a tremendous joy for anime fans around the world. Moreover, a number of new well-known animes that can be streamed for free have been revealed today. So, if you are looking for anime you can stream for free, check out the complete list of newly added anime in Crunchyroll’s Ad-Supported collection.
Crunchyroll’s New Ad-Supported Anime Catalog
Crunchyroll has revamped its AVOD library with many latest anime series. Therefore, you can now stream some fan-favorite anime such as Blue Lock, Chainsaw Man, Vinland Saga, etc. for zero cost but with ads, of course.
Asa Suehira, Crunchyroll’s Chief Content Officer, stated “It’s part of our service to fans when we can make popular titles more accessible.” Furthermore, “these titles will be part of the 1,000 hours of Crunchyroll’s library available free for fans as a way of sampling the world of anime, building new audiences, and growing the already passionate community,” he added.
This is a much-welcome move from Crunchyroll and will be appreciated by fans, as they care more about the anime community and even give them opportunities to kick-start their anime journey this way. It’s no wonder that Crunchyroll is leading when it comes to top anime streaming platforms.
