Last month Fortnite announced a major collaboration with hit Netflix series Squid Game where players got a brand new Reload map that brought iconic locations and mini-games from the show for players to dive into. Alongside the gameplay, fans also got to see multiple cosmetic skins released in the Item Shop that features Guards and Player from the show.
To add to the excitement, Epic also announced a UEFN collab that allows creators to make their own experiences while utilizing licensed assets from the Squid Game IP. As of now, creators are allowed to publish their experiences which can even be their own twisted version of the games.
While announcing this major collaboration at Gamescom 2025 Opening Night Live, Epic also teased a much-awaited character from Squid Game who is finally making his appearance in the game, and it’s the orchestrator of it all, The Frontman. Fortnite Squid Game Front Man Skin Release Date and How to Get It
The Front Man Fortnite skin, inspired by the iconic Squid Game antagonist, will be available in the Fortnite Item Shop on August 26, 2025, at 8 PM ET. This widely anticipated crossover satisfies fan demand for the masked character, who was missing from the inaugural Squid Game Fortnite bundle in June, which was criticized for its 3,000 V-Bucks pricing and absence of a Front Man skin.
Players may purchase the Front Man skin straight from the Fortnite Item Shop with V-Bucks. While the precise pricing has yet to be determined, the last Squid Game bundle cost 3,000 V-Bucks, implying that the Front Man bundle might cost around 1,500 V-Bucks, depending on the bundled items.
The Front Man bundle is said to include hus distinctive black mask and coat suit, a Dalgona-themed pickaxe, and a back bling imitating the Squid Game coffin or a masked guard emblem, all of which align with the show’s style. An emote that mimics the Front Man’s imposing presence is also being speculated to arrive. These items, while not verified, are based on fan speculation and the known signature style of the Squid Game crossover.
